"Mason." I chuckle nervously as his presence takes my breath away. He looked stunning in the somewhat simple, yet casual outfit he's wearing and his hair is neatly done. As I feel nerves kicking in I look at the ground, not really knowing what to say anymore. Him alone makes me forget about everything and everyone around us. It feels like we're the only ones in the room, except I don't know what to say anymore.
"Just breathe and tell me what's up." He calmly instructs as his fingers tilt my chin up, making me look into those beautiful, brown eyes. As I blush a bit I bite my lip, something which I always do whenever I feel nervous or anxious. He seems to notice, but instead awaits for me to speak up.
"So, I was t-thinking about a f-fresh start." I shyly tell him as I stumble a bit over my own words. I mentally face palm myself for being this nervous and awkward, but Mason's face only lights up by the mention of a new chance. As he's wearing his signature smile he motions me to continue,
"We both have done some stupid things in the past and we should let go of that instead of giving our circumstances an influence in our love life. We've done things we aren't proud of, but if we forgive and forget we can maybe make some wholesome memories together, we can maybe be together." I say as I try to remember the pep talk I'd written before. Without it I knew I'd be a complete mess at this moment, but as of now I seem to be doing just fine, Mason standing there with the biggest grin I've ever seen.
"I'd like that." He chuckles as he picks me up and spins me around, causing me to squeal and to beg him to put me down, which he eventually does. The both of us wear the biggest smile we possibly can as we finally face each other again, him not being afraid of showing those perfectly white teeth.
"Tonight, 7pm. Now get out my cafe, I have work to do and you're distracting." I usher him out as he tries to come up with reasons to be in my presence longer then necessary. He eventually leaves with Tammy, Trevor and Reece, the 3 of them giving me a thumbs up and some winks before driving off. As I make my way into the cafe Skye and Hayley question me immediately, the 3 of us doing a little dance to celebrate, resulting in customers looking a bit weird to us. We didn't mind though seeing I'd just won over Mason Mount again, and I'm about to go big from now on.

"You're ready?" I ask Mason, who gives me a small nod. The two of us are going on our first date ever since making up with one another and to say I'm excited is an understatement. I'd planned all these dates out and this is one of my favourites. I'm just hoping Mason feels the same way, but only time can tell.
After a 10 minute drive the two of us reach our destination. I try to get out of the car, but Mason already made his way to my side to open my door and take my hand. I thank him gratefully as we then make our way to the date I've planned.
"Reservation under Williams." I politely tell the guy who checks our tickets after waiting in a queue for somewhat 15 minutes. He lets us through when everything seemed alright, which resulted in the nerves that I've been having becoming more and more as time passes. As we make our way past the ticket guy another man waits for us.
"You must be Mrs. Williams." The guy politely says as he holds his hand out to shake for me, which I gladly do. Mason, however, doesn't seem to like whats going on, him clearing his throat, the situation becoming a bit awkward after. The guy shifts his attention from me to Mason, who by now is also eying the guy.
"And Mr. Williams, it's nice to have you guys here." He says as he also holds his hand out for Mason to shake, who hesitantly does just that. The guy calling him Mr. Williams makes me snort however, but seeing they two of them were busy greeting each other they didn't seem to notice, luckily.
"You guys can follow me." He then guides us to the surprise I'd planned all along, Mason's jaw dropping to the ground as he sees what I've been planning for this special occasion. He, completely unexpected, picks me up and spins me around. He kisses me on to top of my head when he's put me down, a blush creeping all over my face as he does so.
"I hope you're not afraid of heights." I remark as we near the hot air balloon we're about to enter. He only chuckle and guides me towards the hot air balloon by placing his hand on my lower back. It sends a tingling sensation all over my skin, one I hadn't felt in a long time.
As we enter the hot air balloon I almost lose my balance, my clumsiness coming through at an inappropriate moment once again. Mason somehow gets a hold of me whilst I'm falling, him preventing me from falling onto the ground. As I feel his strong arms around me I open my eyes, which I didn't even know were shut, mines looking into his, leaving the both of us speechless for some seconds.
"I'm so sorry." I apologise as he helps get back up. He only grins, his hand now supporting my lower back again.
"Don't worry, you just need a little help." With that he gently, but surprisingly lifts me off the ground and into the hot air balloon, me squealing in the process. He then gets in himself and within some minutes we take off. Along the way Mason holds me close to him, his hands hugging my waist as his face is buried in the crook of my neck. It makes butterflies erupt in my stomach, indicating that even after all this time I still feel the same way about Mason.
"Look at the view." I say as we're looking out over London. Mason comes from behind me and is now besides me, him pulling me into his side as his left hand holds me tightly by my waist. As I rest my head on his shoulder I think about the rollercoaster ride we've been on ever since meeting each other. We had our ups, we had our downs, yet here we are. I can't help but smile as I think about the time Mason knocked on my door accidentally or the first time we met in the cafe.
"What's so funny?" He asks as he looks down on me, which results in me blushing. As I bite my lip I look at the ground, only for him to tilt my chin, for in game to look at him. He looks at me like he's demanding an answer as his eyes flick in between my eyes and lips, something which is making me mor meervoud then ever.
"I was, just thinking about some memories we've shared together." I answer truthfully, which resulted in a grin being plastered all over Mason's face. He engulfs me in a hug as he kisses me on the top of my head, something which made me blush again, it now luckily being whilst my face is buried in his shirt. We stand like that for what feels like eternity whilst our hot air balloon floods in the air,
This date couldn't have gone any better.
