Jaylee's POV
It's been three months since my parents have passed away. Three entire months of a whole new lifestyle. Everything in my life is completely different now that I'm no longer living at my house. I made the decision to stay with the guys since I knew it would be best for me, even if the outcome was inconvenient. I knew the risks I had to take if I stayed with them, but the risks of being home by myself were even greater.
I even thought about packing everything I needed to move somewhere far away where the Raptors could never reach me. But even then I wouldn't feel safe. I knew the only way I could find peace and feel secure was if I stayed with the Dark Riots. So being with them was really the most beneficial.... quite unfortunately.
I had to lie to my friends and other family, telling them that my parents had died in a car accident and that I was going to move out and start a new life in London. I had to have a funeral and everything, pretending my parents were already turned into ash since that's what they would of wanted.
Everyone was completely shocked, and I even had to turn down the many offers of those who wanted me to stay with them. But I had to put on a smile and pretended that I was okay, that I could handle this on my own. Even though.... truth is..... I really can't handle this on my own. Everything was just slowly going downhill, and I didn't have the breaks to stop it. I guess I really did need the guys because only they could understand what I'm going through.
"Breakfast is ready!" I called out after I fixed the last smoothie bowl, making sure it looked delicious.
Suddenly multiple footsteps entered inside the kitchen, letting me know that the guys were ready to eat.
"What did you make? I can't smell anything." Harry asked as he rolled up his sleeves.
"Cuz she didn't cook numnutt she blended." Liam said as he pushed his friend forward. They both chuckled before they came over towards me and hovered over my smaller frame.
"Oh wow! This looks too fancy for me." Liam awed before Harry quickly grabbed his bowl.
"Not for me. I'm starving." Harry commented before he gave me a side hug.
"Thanks Jaylee. It's like having a sister in the house who takes care of you. Gotta love having you around." Harry smiled as I blushed and leaned against him.
"You're welcome Harry. I hope you like it." I said as he didn't hesitate to take a spoonful.
"What's in it?" Niall asked as he leaned against me while staring down at the food, causing me to lose my balance.
I chuckled before responding, "Granola, blueberries, bananas, peanut butter, coconut shavings, dates, hemp seeds, chia seeds... and for the mix... just berries, more banana, and almond milk."
"Sounds foreign." He replied as he looked completely lost.
I laughed at his reaction before I handed him his bowl. "It's what I eat. You'll love it. It's super healthy. Good fiber." I said before I patted his stomach.
"Thanks love." He smiled before he grabbed my waist, pulling me close as he pecked my head.
"Mhm." I smiled before I saw Zayn and Louis walk in while Liam walked away with his.
"Wow this looks fancy! Thank you Jaylee. That was very sweet of you to make us something." Louis beamed as I looked up at him.
"Of course, since you guys allow me to buy whatever groceries I want, I figured I'd let you all get a taste of what I eat." I smiled as I placed one hand on my hip.
