It's already 6 pm and the meeting with the partnership just ended. I was with Gowon so I told her to bring me to the hospital cause I have someone to meet. It's already the 3rd day of me, taking care of Mrs. Na.
When I was a kid, she take care of me when my parents have a meeting and get home late. She's very close to my family so now is the time to pay it back.
I enter the room and put the fruits on the table.
"Minho have one before you leave"
"Thanks, Noona, I'll leave now," he said before leaving the room
"Take care" I shout
"Are you feeling better Mrs. Na?" I asked while giving her peeled fruits
"you take care of me so why not" she replied and get her attention back to the television
"It's already late, you should sleep now"
"I'll just finish this one"
I look at the TV and saw that she was watching Running Man
"Auntie you also watch that?"
"It's really fun, jongkook is handsome," she said
"Jihyo Unnie is good"
We were talking when we heard the door open, we didn't look at it since we were too focused on the program
"Minho did you leave something?" I said as I look at the door
"Jaemin"
I said loud enough that makes Mrs. Na look also
"Jaemin," she said
He walks to us and starts nagging her mom
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked
"What if something else happened?" He continued
"You're right, such a nagger" She looks at me and complains
I laugh about what she said and give a chair for jaemin
I cleaned for a little and take my things with me
"I'll leave now Mrs. Na~," I said before waving goodbye
"It's already dark outside, wait for a minute Jaemin will take you home," his mom said before looking at jaemin
He looks surprised
"No need auntie, I can go home alone besides no one will take care of you," I replied
"How can you go home when you ask Gowon to bring you here?" Jaemin said
"Huh?"
I made a solid 5 seconds of eye contact with him before he stand up and take his key.
"Mom Just stay here and watch, it will just take a few minutes," he said before leaving
He goes to the door and held it for me, we go directly to his car which is parked in the dark alley to make sure no one notices him
During the ride
"How did you know that Gowon drive me here?" I said out of curiosity
"I saw her earlier driving your car," he said while looking at the road
"Is that so"
The ride was awkward we sometimes talk about small things and it just ended in a short time
"How did you know that your mom is in the hospital?" I asked
"Minho, he said he should say it to me since I'm her son" he replied
"you! Why didn't you tell me?" He added in a loud voice
"She said not to! I just followed her"
"You're my friend but you keep it a secret"
"If my mom said that, will you say it to me? No right?" I replied
"You're right," he said and we laugh
A few minutes later we arrived at our place, I leave the car and also him
"It looks good," he said while looking at the sky
"Yea it is" I replied following his action
"I think It looks better in the playground, do you want to go and see?" He asked
"But Auntie is waiting for you" I replied
"It's just short please~," he said in a baby voice
"Fine," I said as he held my arm and dragged me to the playground
"ur such a cutie" I mumbled
Jaemin POV
I asked ninya to come with me to the playground and see a better view.
"You're right, it looks better here," ninya said
"Building, lights, dark sky, and stars" she added
We look at the view with dark surroundings, it mesmerizes my eyes having an amazing view and a beautiful lady with me.
"I thought your boyfriend was real," I said to break the ice
"How can you say it looks real when I explained that it's just a contract," she said and look at me
"I saw it" I focus back on the sky
"What? You meet him?" she said with a loud voice
"I saw him, he brings you home coming from the airport," I said
"you saw that? Well so what, it's just an act" she said and shrugged it off
Silence occupied our space as I decided to confess
"I like you," I said as I look at her
"Bro don't lose focus and I don't wanna be a mistress" She looks at me and then back to the sky
"I know I confess to you before I leave"
"but it's almost 4 months now," she said
"but I still want you, so I'll court you," I said before I leave
I walk back to my car and drive, I didn't even say goodbye to her.
"What mistress?" I thought
Flashback
After minutes of staying in the living room and talking with the guys, I decided to go back to my room.
I stood up and was about to go back when I heard Mark says something
"Jaemin, she will come back," he said and I continue walking to my room
I scroll to my phone to forget what happened when I remember that I received a text earlier but didn't read it yet.
she sent me a text

Jaemin-ah, I know you're mad rn, I'm sorry Mr. Na
Ninya:
It's just for a year don't worry
I know you'll read this later cause you're freaking mad at me
Ninya:
I have to say something to say. You always take care of me, annoy me like a brother, and nag like my mom but I appreciate it.
I like you, Na Jaemin.
I'm so surprised about what I just saw, I can't believe it.
I am so happy and those words make my day, they help me to overcome the sad days and brighten each day I have.
Starting that day, I promise to make you mine.
