The lead up to the orpheum performance went by faster than y/n had imagined, during this the boys had still gotten the zaps, so it was good for them that it went fast, the sooner the better, right?
Y/n and Julie were getting ready and making sure they both looked their best. That only took them about an hour and by then they had to leave.
"Julie, Y/n are the boys here?" Julie shook her head as she watched y/n pace back and forth "They should be here, they need to be here they have to!" Flynn sighs "oh god you guys are nervous" Both y/n and Julie send Flynn a look.
"Tough crowd."
"Miss y/l/n and Miss Molina, you're on in 5" You take a deep breath "Oh god."
Those 5 minutes were spent with Flynn calming you both down and you guys planning what to do if the boys don't show. "Oh my god" "What?" Julie and Flynn say in sync.
"What if Caleb got to them? We didn't see them at home either. Oh what if they joined his band?!" Julie starts to freak out too and skulls a bottle of water.
"Y/n! Quit it, stop worrying you know what to do if they don't show, i'm sure they wouldn't just leave."
"Girls, you're on." You shake your arms and take a deep breath, Julie puts her hand out for you and you take it walking on stage. You take a seat and Julie props the mic to her height, you nod to her and she smiles at you. You begin playing the piano, praying the boys show up.
"Don't blink, no, I don't want to miss it"
"One thing, and it's back to the beginning"

a flow of relief rushes through you, your nerves are gone, they're here, you knew it. you nod to julie and continue playing the piano, you look to smile at the boys and see luke isn't there.
"Right now, i'm loving every minute, hands down can't let myself forget it, no, cause everything is rushing in fast"

"I'm going out of my mind"
That little bit of worry still in you, disappears, everyone is here and you couldn't be more happier, sure after this they'll be gone but you try to live in the moment. you grab your mic and start jumping around with Julie and hyping the boys up. You and Julie's proud faces seeing Reggie and Alex jam out to their solos and dancing around with everyone. This was it but it was so worth it.
