Y/N's P.O.V.

My name is Y/N L/N, Ultimate Forensics Specialist. "Hey, whatcha reading?" Shuichi asked you, tilting his head to look down at the book you were currently reading. Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Detective, had been your best friend since grade school. You looked up, giving him a heartfelt smile, "Oh, wanna read? It's a murder-mystery!", "Well, it does fit your Ultimate, doesn't it?" Shuichi chuckled, "Hey!" you said, playfully punching his arm, "Ultimate or not, in no way is my fault what I like!" you stated, a smirk across your lips.

Shuichi's P.O.V.

"The way she looks at me. It's almost intoxicating" I thought to myself as she gently punched my arm. "Ultimate or not, in no way is my fault what I like!" she said to me. The way her lips look, so soft, I want to kiss them, even if it's just once. "Hey," I wanted to tell her how I felt to badly, but my voice must have been to quiet. She cut me off right just when I wanted to confess!

Y/N's P.O.V.

I grabbed Shuichi's hat and placed it on my head, "H-hey! N-no doing that without permission!" he stuttered, I just giggled "No way, man. You're my best friend! I can do what I want!"

Shuichi's P.O.V.

"Then kiss me." I said in a calm tone, but on the inside I was freaking out. "Why did I say that?!" I could only think those thoughts of "Why", everything else was blank, it felt like my heart was going to pound right out of my chest. "Huh? Oh, sorry, what?" she said, looking up from her book "Nothing, just thinking about work again" I lied. "Man, that's really getting to you, huh?", "Not really. Maybe a little?" I said, looking into her eyes.

Y/N's P.O.V

"Wow, he's really grown, huh?" I thought to myself, "He doesn't look half-bad. In fact, he looks kind of cute now. Sure, he's always looked cute but now I just. I just. I find him attractive." I could feel my face grow hot, "Wait, what am I thinking?!", Shuichi's voice silenced my thought, "Are you alright, Y/N?", "Yeah, I'm fine." I smiled.

Shuichi's P.O.V

"Does this mean she feels the same? Or is she actually getting sick?" I pondered that question to myself for a few, before deciding what my next move will be "Y/N!" I blurted out, pointing my finger at her chest, "Yeah, Shuichi?" she asked, tilting her head "This feeling. You feel it too, right?!" "Feeling?" Y/N asked, placing her hand on my chest. My face grew hot "Oh god I'm so dumb, aren't I?" I thought to myself, "I just want to pound my head against a wall, I feel so embarrassed!"

Y/N's P.O.V.

I giggled, "He knows how I feel? And he feels the same way I do?". Shuichi gave me a soft smile and inched his face closer to mine, "I-" I began to speak, but Shuichi shut me up with a soft kiss on the lips. "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that, Y/N.", "R-really? You too?" I asked, my heart fluttering in my chest. "You like me, Y/N? As in, 'more-than-just-a-friend' type of like?", I laughed at his response to what I had told him after the kiss, "Yeah. I really liked you. It just took me until now to see that."

Shuichi's P.O.V.

"Wow. I did it. I finally did it." I thought to myself, "I kissed the girl I liked!". "So," I spoke, "Now what?", Y/N just wrapped her arms around the back of my neck and kissed me "We're dating, obviously!", "Of course." I smiled, a dark pink blush spread across my face. I tried my best to act calm, but inside I was freaking out like a fangirl when she finally meets her hero.
