Jorōgumo! Hagakure x Reader

~the Spider~

In Japan, some spiders are known to possess amazing supernatural powers. One of these is the jorōgumo, known as the golden orb-weaver in English. 

"Greetings, fair maiden." a man spoke, "Oh, h-hi." Y/N smiled, "Why are you all alone at this time of night?" he asked, "Father says I shouldn't speak to strangers." Y/N spoke, looking down, the man lifted up her chin, "You're a stranger to me, pretty lady. Yet here I am, speaking to you."

"O-oh. I-I guess that's true." Y/N said, a blush falling across her cheeks, "Come with me, dear. It's not safe out here all alone. Especially not for such a beautiful lady." he spoke, grabbing Y/N's hand in his as he took her back to his cottage. "W-wait, I still don't know your name." Y/N said, looking up at the man, "I'm Yasuhiro Hagakure. What's your name, pretty one?" he asked, Y/N giggled, "It's Y/N."

"Stay here for as long as you like, Y/N." Hagakure spoke, "I'll make us some tea. Do you have a preference?", "Any kinds fine." Y/N said, "You got it, pretty girl." Hagakure smiled, entering the kitchen. 'I know I shouldn't be here with this strange man...but he seems so nice.'  Y/N thought.

"Here you go, pretty girl." Hagakure said, handing Y/N a cup. Y/N smiled, "Thank you." she turned her head, "Uhm, Hagakure?" she timidly asked, "What's got you spooked, Y/N?" Hagakure asked, looking to see what Y/N was looking at, "D-do you by chance...like spiders?" Y/N asked, pointing to the aquarium. "Of course! I have tons of them!" Hagakure smiled, "T-tons?" Y/N gulped, "Don't worry! They're very friendly!" he assured her.

Hagakure picked up a tarantula, "Wanna hold him?", Y/N grabbed a pillow and hugged it, "N-no. S-scary..." she whimpered, "W-wait, I didn't mean to scare you!" Hagakure said, worried Y/N will try and escape now that she's seen his spiders.

Y/N set down her tea and placed the pillow back on the couch, she stood up, "T-thank you, Hagakure. But I need to go now. Bye!" she said, about to walk out the front door, Hagakure grabbed her arm, "And where do you think you're going?" he growled, Y/N squeaked, "I-I'm going home!" Y/N tried to leave but he just pinned her against the door, pressing his body against hers, "You can't leave this place, understood?"

"No, please!" Y/N cried, Hagakure then set one of his spiders on Y/N's shoulder, the spider in turn crawled down and spun a web around Y/N's waist, "What do you want from me, you monster?!" Y/N shouted, "I'm a jorōgumo. What do you think I want?" Hagakure smirked, "Wait, you lured me here to e-eat me?!" Y/N asked, "Why else would I want such a pretty girl to visit me?" Hagakure chuckled, "W-wait, no, p-please! I'm not edible!" Y/N cried, "Awh, scared of me, dear little Y/N? It's okay. Your pain will end soon." Hagakure smiled, "B-before you eat me...can you at least grant my final wish?" Y/N asked, "And that is?" Hagakure asked, "Kiss me." Y/N spoke, "K-kiss you?" Hagakure asked, "Please? I at least want you to tell me what my lips taste like before you, ya know, eat me." Y/N pleaded.

Hagakure sighed, "Fine." Hagakure crashed his lips into Y/N, leaving their lips interlocked for a few seconds before pulling away, "You taste sweet." Hagakure smiled, "You'll make my death painless, right?" Y/N asked, tears falling down her cheeks, Hagakure nodded.

"Thank you." Y/N said, closing her eyes.
