Hanahaki Disease! Hagakure x Reader

All Hagakure wanted was for Y/N to love him. She had to love him. How else could he get rid of this? Hagakure had a disease. Hanakai Disease.

Hanahaki Disease is a disease where someone begins coughing up flower petals because they have unrequited feelings for someone. The flowers can grow in the stomach, lungs, or heart, though it is traditionally in the lungs.

Hagakure didn't want to force Y/N's feelings, but the Hanahaki Disease didn't exactly leave him with any other choice.

Cough. Cough. Cough.

Hagakure looked down at what had expelled itself from his lungs...a small rose with some of its soft red petals scattered around it.

Hagakure couldn't keep living like this, he had to do something to fix it. And that meant confessing to Y/N as soon as he could. Hagakure looked to his left, a 'A lone cherry blossom tree...'  he thought to himself, approaching the tree.

Hagakure pulled out his phone and texted Y/N to meet him in the park underneath the tree with pink petals.

Hagakure watched as Y/N walked over to him, unsure of what he wanted. "Hey, Hagakure. So...what's up?" she asked, Hagakure felt his chest tighten as he nervously looked Y/N in the eyes, "Uhm, Y-Y/N..." Hagakure began, "Please accept my love!" he cried out as he bowed, too afraid to look Y/N in the eyes after his confession of love.

"That's why I texted you to come over! I wanted to confess to you! I really love you Y/N!" he continued, "So please..." Hagakure spoke, looking into Y/N's eyes, "Please love me!"

Y/N stared in silence for a few moments, and in those moments Hagakure felt tears streaming down his cheeks, his face felt hot, he couldn't breathe properly, and his legs felt like they were made of gelatin. 

Y/N quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, "Of course I love you, you dummy!" she sobbed with joy, "I've been waiting to confess but I was too afraid you'd say no." she spoke, Hagakure smiled as he pulled Y/N into a tight hug.
