Hesitant, Jungkook stood in front of the by now familiar door of Taehyung's home. Should he go in?
...No he shouldn't. Jungkook turned to walk away from the door.
Oh but he had dressed up for this.
...Maybe a little appearance wouldn't hurt. With new found confidence, Jungkook knocked on the door.
Shortly after the door opened, revealing a neatly dressed Taehyung. His curls neatly styled instead of tucked under a beret. "Seems I didn't overdress after all." Jungkook scanned his boyfriend over.
Just by the sight of him, looking so damn good made Jungkook almost forgive him... Almost.
Taehyung grabbed Jungkook hand, pulling him inside his home before closing the door behind him. "To make it up to you, I cooked us a dinner... uh newsflash... I'm horrible at cooking."
"It looks amazing though." Jungkook's mouth watered while sitting down on the chair. "That's because I ordered something at a restaurant after nearly burning down my kitchen." Taehyung took a seat in front of Jungkook who was trying his best not to laugh in his face.
"Don't make me laugh. I'm supposed to be mad at you." Jungkook crossed his arms and put on a glare.
"I'm sorry for implying that you don't say the smartest things. I shouldn't have done that."
"Damn right you shouldn't have." Jungkook unfolded his arms before grabbing Taehyung's hand. "Apology accepted though." Taehyung squeezed in Jungkook's hand with a soft smile. "Good, now eat. You need to eat more with the amount you work out."
Jungkook dug into the food, humming in delight when the delicious food hit his tastebuds. He was enjoying it thoroughly and even was back to a giggling mess while talking to his lover.
Maybe he's too dramatic, maybe he forgives too easily. All Jungkook knows that Taehyung makes him happy even if he's supposed to be upset with him.
A sudden realization hit Jungkook after they finished dinner. "Wait.... Tae weren't you tight on money?" Taehyung ignored him and put on some music on his old polyphon. "Tae don't ignore my question."
"Yes I am, but that doesn't matter. I'll just work some overhours."
"Tell me how much that cost, I'll pay it back." Jungkook tried, Taehyung went to stand behind him, massaging his shoulders. "I'm not telling you anything. Besides, the pocketwatch you gave me is by far more expensive than that dinner."
"But I have money for it, you don't." Jungkook removed Taehyung's hands, standing up to face him. "It's fine, I promise." Taehyung gave a light peck on Jungkook's lips, resting his hands on his shoulders. Jungkook however didn't let it go. "Tell me the amount or I'm going to get angry again."
"So another excuse to plan a date?"
"Tae." Taehyung raised his brow, he knew he was testing Jungkook. He just didn't like owning up to being broke. Jungkook sighed when he got no answer, grabbing his wallet and pushing a bill of 50 in Taehyung's pocket. "There. That should at least have covered most of it." Jungkook smiled and wrapped his arms around the by now grumpy Taehyung's waist.
"Don't be grumpy, here I'll make it up to y-"
"Don't you dare give me more." Taehyung warned, poking Jungkook's chest. Jungkook laughed before connecting their lips. "Against getting that as well?"
"Hmmm, let me think about that one." Jungkook rolled his eyes at his boyfriend before smashing their lips back together.
Jungkook pushed him back against the wall, slowly unbuttoning Taehyung shirt.

"You seem happy." Jimin commented, sitting on Taehyung's desk. "I am happy."
"I'm glad." Jimin played anxiously with his fingers, catching Taehyung's attention. "Are you nervous?"
"I have something to tell you Tae."
Jimin being anxious to share some news? That didn't happen often. It only happened when it was life changing.
"I'm going to be a father." Jimin nearly spat out, shocking Taehyung with those words. "Shirley is pregnant?" Jimin smiled broadly before nodding.
"Wow! Jimin I'm so happy for you two!" Taehyung stood up from his chair and hugged Jimin tightly.
"That wasn't all. Can you let me go so I can breathe?" Taehyung quickly released his friend, muttering a "sorry" before all his attention was back on Jimin. "Shirley and I talked very long about this... But we made the decision that we want you... to be their godfather."
Taehyung's eyes were bugging out of his skull. Out of all people they could've chosen. They chose to entrust Taehyung with being their first child's godfather. "Are you serious?" Jimin nodded before bracing himself for another bone crushing hug. "Of course I'll be their godfather! Are you kidding me? I would be so honored!"
"I'm glad, now please let me go."
Taehyung was going to be a godfather, finally there was a benefit to his parents baptizing him. Now he can play an important role in Jimin's child's life.
Taehyung couldn't be more glad that his friendship with Jimin hadn't been completely ruined.
He was still his best friend.
