"You look defeated." Namjoon said once he saw Taehyung sit at his desk early in the morning, just staring in front of him. "...Blaine's parents aren't very welcoming"

"...Did she break up with you?"

"No." Namjoon sighed silently punching the wall. "...I'm not blind Namjoon, I know you don't like what I'm doing."

"As your friend, I find it irresponsible, both towards yourself and towards that girl. You're going to end up breaking her heart." Taehyung looked up at his friend, this conversation seemed oddly familiar.

"She won't find out Namjoon. Seriously, shut your mouth about it." Namjoon rolled his eyes. "Right, well, tell me when you have your sanity back." Namjoon turned on his heel and walked away from the classroom.

"I am sane!" Taehyung yelled after him. Another figure turned the corner, an amused smile on his face. "You sounded very INsane screaming that." Taehyung's head snapped towards the man. "Stay back!"

Jungkook stood still in the doorway, confused. "What? Taehyung are you okay?" He tried taking a step closer but instead got a pen thrown in his face. "I SAID STAY BACK. Don't come near me!" Jungkook blinked a few times, looking at Taehyung, at the pen on the floor and back to Taehyung. "...Wow you're actually going insane."

"I'm not insane!"

"...Do I need to drive you back home and like... get you a sick day?"

"So you can harass me in my home!? Never! That's what you're here for no!?" Jungkook once again stood still, flabbergasted by the words that had left Taehyung's mouth. "...I'm here to talk about the trip for our students... Remember? The thing we had discussed?"

"Oh-" Taehyung put his pens down on the desk, clearing his throat. "Well that's awkward."

"What has gotten into you?" Jungkook finally dared to step a foot in the classroom. "Nothing I uh- just on edge."

"...I could tell." Taehyung removed his glasses, rubbing his face with a cold hand to make himself feel more awake. "...Perhaps I should get a sick day-" Taehyung grabbed his suitcase, glad he hadn't taken out a lot of stuff. "Should I drive you home?" Jungkook offered but Taehyung brushed him off. "I'll ask Namjoon." Taehyung pushed past Jungkook and quickly walked his way out of the classroom.

"...That flu must be bad. He's already hallucinating." Jungkook checked his watch, his eyes widening when he realised what time it was. His class starts in 3 minutes.

Taehyung's doorbell rang, making the man get out his blanket burrito and waddling over towards the door, creaking it open. "Shirley?" He opened the door further, letting the woman in. "I heard from Namjoon you're sick, you should be glad that it's my free day today, I made you chicken noodle soup! My grandmother's recipe!" She pulled out a pan from the big bag she had taken with her.

"Uhm..." Shirley looked back at Taehyung who still very much stood at the door, a blanket wrapped around him. She touched his forehead before leading the man to his own table. "I'll warm it up, you can give the pan back another time-"

"Shirley." Taehyung interrupted, catching the woman's attention. "Yes?"

"Why are you here?" She rose her brow at him. "Why wouldn't I be here? You're my husband's best friend, therefore you're a close friend to me. You don't deserve to be sick on your own." She put on the stove, putting the pan on top of it. "...Shirley, you know me and Jimin are no longer friends right?" She turned back at Taehyung, a giant spoon in her hands, a glare on her normally friendly face. "I don't like jokes like that Taehyung."

"I'm- I'm not joking."

She lowered the fire on the stove and plopped down next to Taehyung on the couch. "What happened?"

"...Can I still have the soup even after I tell you?" Shirley rolled her eyes, smacking the back of Taehyung's head. "Of course you can."

Taehyung looked around the room before taking a deep breath. "I told him a secret.... and he could no longer be my friend because of it."

"...What's the secret?" She leaned closer towards Taehyung, his volume kept getting lower and lower. "Well considering he knows, it won't make a difference if you know- I like men." The woman in front of him fell quiet, just simply blinking at him. "You're allowed to ha-"

"That's it?" She interrupted, she had expected an awful thing to come out of his mouth. "Uh... What do you mean that's it?"

"You told Jimin anything else?"

"...No?" She tutted her lips before standing up. "The soup is almost done, just a few more minutes. I have to go."

"Where you going?"

"Wherever my dear husband is so I can smack some sense into his thick skull."

"No don-" Shirley had already left his house, he heard the quick clatter of heels hitting the pavement. The man sighed, looking over at the soup that was on the stove. "...I'm hungry now."
