A week had passed.... Taehyung had avoided Jungkook to the best of his abilities while Jimin was doing the exact same thing to him. He hadn't even seen Jimin in a 5 meter radius of himself.

Marjorie had showed up again, rambling on about seeing cute girls and asking advice what she should do. Taehyung had to come clean, he told her he didn't know either considering he's always been hiding it away. The girl had told Taehyung to follow his own advice and just be comfortable with himself. Taehyung didn't listen. He met up with Blaine again and they got along really well. Of course for Taehyung there were no feelings attached but Blaine was a whole another story. Quickly falling head over heels with the handsome, respectful, intelligent and funny man. Taehyung seemed like her dream man, however Taehyung had a dream man of his own. But she would never know about that, he would never let it slip.

The look of betrayal on Jungkook's face once he saw Blaine showing up to his work to hand him a homecooked lunch was heartbreaking. "What's wrong Tae?" Blaine asked, following Taehyung's gaze towards Jungkook. "Oh, just a disagreement with another teacher."

"The, tall, decked out in black one?"

"Sounds about right. He's my fellow homeroom teacher." Blaine hummed, not sure what she should say. "He uhmm.. Looks kind of hurt, shouldn't you apologize?"

"No. It was his own fault." Taehyung said making Blaine fall quiet. "Okay well... I have to leave... See you this weekend?"

"See you." The woman stood up from her seat, twiddling her fingers before having to shuffle her way out of the door Jungkook was currently blocking. Taehyung paid him no mind, just simply turning his attention to the lunch Blaine had prepared for him. "Who was that?" A voice in the distance called out, Jimin.

"Tae's 'girlfriend'." He heard Namjoon answer, dramatizing the last word. "Wait- but isn't he-" The conversation suddenly cut off before he heard footsteps coming to his direction. Taehyung slowly looked up from his meal, seeing a confused Jimin standing next to his chair. "...Can we talk?" Taehyung inhaled a sharp breath. "Sure."

-

Jimin had pulled him outside and into his car so noone could eavesdrop. "Tae who was that girl?"

"Blaine."

"And who is Blaine to you?"

"A.... date?" Jimin narrowed his eyes. "But- didn't you tell me you were into men-"

"Oh haha! You didn't give me the time to say it was a joke! It was just a.... haha, joke." Jimin's eyes betrayed his thoughts immediately, he didn't buy Taehyung's excuse for a second. "I know you better than that."

"....No you don't."

"Taehyung we've been best friends for how long? 8 years?"

"What do you even care? You've been avoiding me for like a week long."

"What'd you expect after you drop such a bomb on me out of nowhere!?"

"I don't know?! Acceptance perhaps!" Jimin huffed, crossing his arms. "How can I accept you after knowing you didn't trust me enough for 8 years long!"

"I WAS SCARED! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!? I CAN BE LOCKED AWAY OR EVEN KILLED JUST BECAUSE OF WHO I WAS BORN TO LOVE."

"...Tae I really want to accept you... but... It goes against everything I've ever known...." Jimin looked up at his best friend, meeting his eyes. The same very eyes he once trusted with his life, the eyes he could read every emotion from without a single thought, the eyes of the man he held close. "I understand Jimin... I won't bother you anymore. Just... Just pretend I'm hetero okay? Can you do that for me?" Their eyes met, this was the moment, their friendship could either mend or break completely at this point and it all depended on Jimin's next move. "Okay. I'll do that." Taehyung inhaled deeply before stepping out of the car.

Jimin had decided to break it.
