Chan got off stage and went backstage into the dressing room. His main goal is to change out of his stage clothes and return back to the table. He saw Jaebeom and Xia talking, but wasn't interested in listening to their conversation or interrupting him.
He went to his dressing room and checked his phone. He saw a text message from his ex, Winnie.
Winnie: Beautiful performance per usual. Are you going to use and play, Xia too? She doesn't know how you really are.. huh?
Chan closed his phone because he didn't want her to ruin his night. Their breakup wasn't terrible, but he wasn't sure where this energy is coming from. Maybe, she still wants something more. When he met with her a few nights ago for a drink, he didn't stay long.
He didn't think it would be good to entertain her, knowing he has feelings for Xia. So, he paid for her drink and left. He barely talked to her for five minutes. He placed his phone in his pocket and returned to the table with Jackson and Jinyoung.
"You killed it, Bangchan!" Jackson cheered, and stood up to pour him a glass of champagne to celebrate the performance. Chan grabbed the glass from him, and took a seat.
"Thanks, man. I really appreciate it," Chan raised his glass to Jackson to celebrate the performance. His mind is focused on reconnecting with Xia, and he's sure that she will come out of the back entrance to meet him tonight.
"This is why you would be a perfect addition to Ahgase Entertainment," Jinyoung raised his glass as well.
"Thank you," Chan nodded.
"So, you're seeing Xia?" Jackson asked, and Chan took a large gulp of his drink. The question caught him off guard, even though tonight wasn't the right time he shouted out Xia. But, it wasn't anyone else's business of what he does in his private life.
"Xia, is special to me," Chan rubbed his hands together, and placed his elbows on the table. He leaned forward and waited to hear what Jackson wanted to say. Chan made his feelings clear for her, so there wasn't any need to explain specific details to anyone.
"Hmm.. everyone has a thing for Xia," Jackson peeked over at Jinyoung, and took a sip of his drink. Jinyoung gave Jackson an intense glare and shook his head.
However, his words didn't make Chan second guess himself. It didn't matter who wanted Xia, because he knows that they have something special. Jinyoung seems like a nice man, but he probably uses his influence to get women. One thing he knows about Xia, is she isn't about having status or being in the limelight.
"That could be true, but Xia is one of a kind. Not every man can appreciate a woman on her level," Chan added.
"Interesting, you say that. She has been back with Jaebeom," Jackson said. It seems like Jackson is trying to push his buttons a bit, but Chan isn't going to lose his cool.
How much does this man know about Xia, and why did he direct his attention to Jinyoung? Chan quickly put two and two together and realized that Jinyoung's silence and death stare meant that he's trying to talk to her, or he already does.
"Good for him. Well, I appreciate the drink. I hope you two have a wonderful night. I will be in touch with you, Park Jinyoung. Thank you for coming out," Chan bowed, and left the table.
Sometimes Chan can ramble on trying to explain himself and often dig himself into a hole. So, to avoid messing up his professional relationship with Jinyoung, he decided it was best to leave the table.

"On the side?" Xia struggled to put the words together. Would he actually be okay with her dating Chan, too? She struggled with the thought of letting go of Jaebeom, but could she get to have her cake and eat it too.
