"I want her," Chris said out loud, as he collapsed on his tiny twin size bed. A warm smile crept on his face because he could still smell her sweet scent. He stared at the ceiling while he thought about the one woman who he was drawn to so quickly.
This can't be normal.
He couldn't remember the last time he connected with a stranger this quickly.
There's something about her.
Even though, Xia didn't feel like a stranger. Her warm brown skin, beautiful smile, confidence with a bit of sass made her stand out to him. He could see her perfectly with his eyes closed. That's how much he studied her. Everything about her screamed boss, and he loved that about her.
She's everything I want in a woman.
He could see how she moved through the crowd, and her aura drew in anyone who came in contact with her. There was something more to her than just her outer aesthetic. Of course, Xia is beautiful on the other side, but the way she cares for Chemin shows that's so much more to her.
But, when he opened his eyes back up, he was met with an unpleasant reality. He was all alone in his tiny bedroom that he could barely afford. He wouldn't dare bring her to his room.
Xia needs a man who can provide for her and take care of her. I can't do that right now.
When Chris decided to pursue singing seriously, he made many sacrifices to make his dream more of a reality. Sure, he missed living in his lovely three-bedroom apartment in Australia, but he didn't have the financial support of his parents or his previous full-time job.
Christopher Bang was on his own in South Korea, and one song about a pretty waitress he met last night changed everything. Things seem to be materializing now, and he would do everything to get Park JinYoung to sign him.
This meeting alone will put him on the map, and now people will start checking for him. But, Chris already had faith that things were going to move in his favor.
He turned on his side and looked at his clock. It was only six o'clock in the evening, and he didn't have anything to do. He wanted to check on Xia, but he didn't want to seem needy.
It bothered him that she turned down his help today, but he understood she has so much on her plate. All of these things are contributing to her stress.
He just wanted to show up for her and support her in any way that he could. He needed to do something to take his mind off of her. He sat up in the bed and looked through his Instagram account.
His comment section was flooded with comments. He was still gaining followers by the hour. At the current moment, he's already at fifteen thousand followers on Instagram.
"I should call her," Chris said.
It's only been a few hours, but he wants to check on Xia. He scrolled through his phone and realized he didn't even have her phone.
"Fuck! Why didn't I get her number today?" Chris asked. He shook his head, and he couldn't believe that he made that mistake.
Chris got off the bed and decided to head to his job to go to talk to her. He wasn't going to be selfish and take it personally that she was a bit reserved after she visited with Chemin. He's like a father to her, and all of this is hard on her.
He headed back to the club and stopped to pick up some flowers for her. That wasn't the surprise he wanted to give her today, but he decided he would give it to her another time.

Xia walked out of her job and zipped up her jacket. It wasn't too cold just yet, but she noticed the temperature has dropped within the last couple of hours.
