Y/n would be lying to herself if she didn't admit that weddings stressed her out.

Yeah no duh, she hasn't exactly had the best experience with them...

Yet somehow she's already onto her second one.

Her arm was linked with her fathers. He gave her a small comforting kiss on the forehead.

She put on a smile, the pair started to walk out in sync.

She felt the smiles of her family and friends once again, but this time was different, they seemed indifferent. It felt like they all sensed something was wrong.

When she had married Eret, everyone had an air of concern, yet now they had an air of worry surrounding them.

It was noticeably different.

Maybe it's was because y/ns marriages so far always ended in disaster?

Sure, marriage to an exile in Manburg wasn't the best idea, even if your father runs the country.

Not to mention that her fiancé's father in law is now the man who exiled him.

Y/n eyes gazed around anxiously awaiting for something to happen.

Everything seemed to be so slow and unmoving.

Unlike the weeks leading up, this wedding was going at a snails pace.

She finally reached the alter, Schlatt held her hand tight. She looked up to meet her fathers eyes.

He was crying. She gave him a soft smile as he put her hands in Wilbur's.

Y/n didn't want to look at Wilbur. The guilt would be too much for her to bare.

Don't look at him, she told herself. You're only gonna feel bad and start crying please...

She turned to give her flowers to Niki, who in turned places them in Tubbo's basket.

The priest began to speak, yet again y/n tuned him out.

He turned to Wilbur, smiling.

"Wilbur Soot, would you like to say your vows?"

Wilbur was beaming, y/n only managed to look at the bottom part of his face. She could see his bright smile.

Stop looking at him you're going to regret it!

Guilt started to well-up in her as her eyes moved upward.

Crap.

His nose was slightly crinkled in excitement, his eyes were sparkling and his hair was fixed nicely.

Y/n felt her heart start to break as she looked at him.

This wasn't the man she loved.

How could she do this to him?

How could she let herself be pulled in once again, the pain and suffering of one loveless marriage had already put on her was too much.

Was she about to have to experience another?

A single tear rolled down her face as Wilbur reached out to touch her cheek.

He was still smiling. He didn't see anything wrong with his bride being emotional.

He cupped her face as he spoke, staring right through her eyes yet seeing nothing.
