CHAPTER 14

   I woke up because of the sun rays hitting my face. "Good morning" Nakangiting bati ni Trouble. This time, I feel like I don't need to be uncomfortable so I gave him a smile in return "Good morning"

Sandali syang napatigil at kalaunan ring ngumiti. "As far as I remember the path should be there" I pointed at a rocky pathway that is not very far from the willow tree.

"We should go before the sun gets too hot" He offered me his hand and accepted it. Wala namang mawawala eh. "I didn't know you knew this place"

"Oh, I always get lost in the forest every time we come to this hotel and when that happens, I seek for Gramps help" Kumunot ang noo nya. "Gramps?"

"The old willow tree. I used to go there whenever I get lost. It is facing the directions of the paths that's why when I go there, I always know my way home" Paliwanag ko.

"Cool" Mahina akong natawa "I know right" We walked towards the path while chatting. Turns out Trouble wasn't that bad. He is fun to be with also thoughtful.

We talked about how I get lost here everytime we have a vacation in the hotel. "I always get lost because of playing with Claire. We used to play hide and seek whenever she couldn't find me, she knows I'm lost and went straight home. My parents aren't that worried because the forest isn't that dangerous and I know where to find the willow tree" Natatawang salaysay ko.

"We are nearing the hotel. You can see it from here" I hold his hands and grabbed it so that we can run together "Hurry up. We are almost there"

"Hey slow down" Hingal na hingal sya ng tumigil kami "Your quite energetic today" I laughed.

When I looked at him I saw him staring at me while smiling. Is there something on my face?

"Umm Trouble?" Nagising sya sa katutohanan ang mahinang tumawa. "Attkinson, will you believe me if I say that your shining like the sun?" Uminit ang mukha ko. Siguro dahil sa init ng araw.

"What?" Tanging nasabi ko.

"Nothing" This time he was the one who grabbed my hand and we started running towards the mountains.

I was shocked and I was just letting him grab me to his hearts content but for some reason. I feel fine, he was the first person that can drag me like this.

Napa-angat ako ng tingin ng bigla syang huminto. "I might be selfish but, I don't like you being with Philipp. When I saw you with him, I feel a sudden urge to punch the hell out of him..." He paused and chuckled. "I can also hug you"

Now that I think about it, what's so special about him? There's are so many firsts that I experienced with him. I never encountered someone suicidal before, but then I saw him. I never risked my life for somebody else but when I saw the gangsters beating him I came to save him. No one enters my room but I let him. No one makes my heart beat as fast as it is when I'm with him.

Trouble Dalton, what's so special about you?

These few little firsts  made me think that you are someone that is gonna mean a lot to me.

We arrived at the hotel and Trouble never let go of my hand. "You're finally here" Claire said casually as expected. "Raf! We were worried about you" Lalapit na sana si Philipp sakin ng hilahin ako ni Trouble papunta sa likod nya.
