CHAPTER 49

Claire

I tsk when my phone kept ringing again and again. This is the tenth time already and it's only 3 am in the morning. I answered it with full annoyance "What!?"

"Claire, it's Trouble" Nawala lahat ng antok ko at hindi makapaniwalang prinoseso ang lahat ng narinig ko "K-kuya Trouble?"

"Yes Claire, It's me"

"Kuya Trouble where did you go? Kuya Rafael was worried about you. It's been almost five months" I still can't think straight.

"I'll explain everything next time but first, I need to know Rafael's location" I stopped and gulped. This is a problem I couldn't help him with.

"Yun na nga kuya eh, umalis sya. Alam ko naman na yung plano nya pero hindi ko alam kung saan sya pumunta" I heard a loud sigh on the other side of the phone. "Is that so? Still, thank you Claire. I really need to find him. If I wait another more day, I'm afraid that he wont accept me anymore"

"He loves you kuya. Even a year of separation won't change anything. I'll still find a way to help you"

"Thank you Claire" The call ended and I just let out a sigh "How could I help him?" I asked myself but still couldn't answer.

"Claire, Jake's here to see you" I heard papa's voice and I immediately went out and greeted him "What's with you today?" I asked, he seemed different.

"Oh- it's because I'm going to Australia tomorrow"

"What?" Agad na nagsalubong ang kilay ko. "I'm leaving" What he said just now struck me like a ray of lighting "When are yoy coming back"

"Never" I gulped "It's a prank" I sighed. I felt like my heart just dropped for a moment there. This asshole.

"I totally got you there" He laughed and I just crossed my arms in disappointment. I was already stressed out this morning, dumagdag pa sya "Don't be angry"

"If you could help me on something, I wouldn't be"

"What is it? Homework? Test? Chores" I rolled my eyes "Grabe ka sakin tss. Anong akala mo sakin walang alam? I want you to track my brother's location"

"You haven't found him yet?"

"Not yet, though my parents are doing there best to find him. Masyado lang talagang magaling si kuya" Napa-tango nalang sya "Have you tried calling him?"

"Yes, but his phone is off. Can you still track him?" He nodded "Yes, but I can only track the location where he last turned on his phone. Will that help"

"Yes! Thank you" I hugged him out of excitement. "Okay okay, I'll start now" He blushed. I smirked at his cute reaction.

"Sometimes, having a nerd friend is kinda good"  I said and sat to scroll on social media. "Tsk" I heard him murmured Something vut it wasn't clear.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing, I said I'm close to finding your brother's last location" I'm amazed by his talent "That fast?" 

"Uhuh" He said proudly "Tss, you're really are a computer nerd"

"Stop teasing me, I already have your brother's last location" I clapped in amazement "You're so good"

"I know right" We both laughed.  "But I have one question"

"What?" I asked "Why are you helping Trouble? He left your brother without a word you know?" I sighed. Some people might think that I'm out of my mind for helping my brother's lover who left him, but everyone has their own reasons. You'll be surprised once you know it.
