Patience dealing with an apologetic Wrath
My cell phone rang inside my purse. I pulled it out and saw it was from my house phone. I answered it and Wrath went into a huge tirade between apologizing and seething accusations. Sathanas grabbed my phone and hung it up. I raised my brow at him and he shrugged.
"He doesn't deserve your forgiveness, he's really not a good person, but he's a perfect deadly sin," he stated firmly. I chewed on my lip still in shock that I was associating with a deadly sin and the son of Lucifer.
"I think you should boot them all out of your home, Patience, they can all return to their own realm, I will order it of the other sins," he sighs angrily. I rubbed my eyes not wanting to have to deal with any of this shit. I exhaled deeply and asked him what he was hungry for. My cell started ringing again and Sathanas turned it off. I got an instant bad feeling in my gut. I brushed it off and got ready for my shift.
Sathanas hung around most of the day making my time more entertaining. He left finally around three and I already missed the demon's addicting smile. My shift ended at five without any further issues. I turned my phone back on and saw I had over fifty missed calls, several voicemails and twenty text messages. I rolled my eyes and called my house phone. Wrath answered and seemed super upset about what he'd done. I told him we would discuss it when I arrived home. I furrowed my brow the entire way back. When I exited my truck Wrath was standing by the door looking guilty af. I could see my brother and Gluttony sitting on the couch as I walked past Wrath without saying a word.
"Patience, please accept my apology, I wasn't myself this morning," he stated simply following me into the kitchen. I rolled my eyes with my back to him. Wrath walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed himself to me.
"You need to stop touching me so freely Wrath," I say softly. I feel him rub himself against my butt and kiss the top of my head.
"I love you Patience," he says while nuzzling my neck. I pulled away from him.
"I think we should both back off a bit, Wrath and I'm sorry if you think there is more between us, I'm not ready for that kind of commitment," I mumble softly and grab my bottle of vodka. I poured a glass and sat at my kitchen table. Wrath was chewing on his lip and sighed deeply.
"Will you forgive me Patience," he asked curiously. I eyed him and sighed.
"I suppose I can this time but seriously Wrath, I need my space," I said into my glass as I down the remaining contents. He eyed me angrily and pursed his mouth.
"Sathanas has told you something about being his mate, hasn't he," he questioned me curiously. I gritted my teeth and hissed through my closed teeth.
"He's spoken of something on that order, not that it's any of your damn business," I state bluntly. He exhaled harshly and crossed his arms.
"Tell me Patience, has he expressed his undying love for you, he's Lucifer's son and a powerful demon, what can he possibly offer you, I'm wealthy beyond belief, " he commented sourly.
"I hope that he's in the shadows hearing what you're saying and I don't care about money, I'm not materialistic," I mumbled angrily back and grabbed the bottle to head outside away from him. The sun was slowly starting to set as I sat on my patio lounge. I lifted my vodka and drank it straight from the bottle. My mind was a mess and my heart hurt. I liked Wrath, but as I thought about it, the only reason why was because I simply liked having someone around. I cared for him but I didn't love him romantically. I sighed sadly and rubbed my eyes. I never should have slept with him.
"Hey sis, what's eating at you," Ida asked me as she sat down next to me. I side eyed her and shrugged, taking another drink from the bottle.
"I've got two men that want me, one says he's my soulmate and is the son of Lucifer, the other is the deadly sin, Wrath, but not my soulmate. She started laughing at me.
