Patience demon protection

On the drive back I eyed Wrath.

"So I'm going to be tormented by a demon now because you can now get drunk, do I have it correct," I asked curiously. He scrunched his mouth and looked sheepishly at me.

"I'm becoming more human being in your presence, you're a human virtue, actually the opposite of me, Patience," he tells me calmly and I raised my brow at him. I'm turning him back into a human, I chuckled at myself.

"I need to sage my house and put salt around the outside, is that going to cause you an issue, Wrath. I just know that it will help keep demons out, not sure how it affects sins," I mumbled sadly. He grinned at me and shrugged.

"I should be alright, I'm turning human," he chuckled in disbelief. We drove up my gravel drive and I jumped out of the truck and headed inside with Wrath following. I went to the bathroom and frowned, I hadn't started my monthly and wondered if I was done with it. I took the annoying maxi pad off. I had been premenopausal for several years. I shrugged and headed to my husband's old office room for the sage and kitchen for salt.

"Is this bugging you," I asked Wrath with the burning bundle of sage. He shook his head and just told me it stinked. I laughed and continued to cleanse my home, saying the prayer and words my husband had taught me. I made sure to hit all the corners and doorways. When I finished with that I grabbed two salt containers and went outside, pouring it around the entire building but running out before reaching the back door. I walked back inside and saw Wrath relaxing on the couch with a small glass of bourbon.

"At least you learned from your mistake," I chuckled and sat down next to him. He smiled and handed me the glass.

"Have the rest, I've had enough," he grinned. I grabbed it and drained the remaining contents. His eyes widened and he chuckled loudly at me breathing deeply from the burn. I eyed him and stuck my tongue out at him. He pursed his mouth and brushed his fingers down my cheek.

"You're a very beautiful woman, Patience," he says softly. My heart started beating fast and I felt my cheeks get warm.

"Yeah, well thank you for that," I mumbled uncomfortably and he scooted closer to me. I side eyed him, watching me intently. I heard Wrath say my name and I turned to him and his lips crashed into mine. His fingers went up behind my neck and he kissed me. I sighed and kissed him back, our tongues caressed each other softly. I pulled back and looked up at his eyes and they looked so bright and clear. I smiled and pecked his lips before getting up. He watched me strangely.

"I'm getting myself something to drink, I'll be back," I tell him and he looks relieved. I ran into the kitchen freaking out. Oh my God, that gorgeous creature kissed me, my mind replayed the way his lips felt. I touched them not believing what just happened. I grinned slightly and poured myself a glass of vodka with ice. I breathed in deeply to calm my giddiness and went back into the living room. Wrath was still sitting there with a dazed look on his sexy face. I grinned and sat down next to him again.

"So, um, since you're turning human, do you remember your name at all," I asked curiously. He tilted his head in thought and shook his head.

"Could you ask the other sins, they may remember something," I suggested. I watched him close his eyes and his facial features changed. It looked like he was having a deep conversation.

"Pride says all he remembers is Anton but it doesn't feel right," he mumbled. I sat back and thought.

"How about Antoninus, that's an old Roman name," I suggest and he chuckled happily and nodded.

"That sounds like my real first name," he laughed and hugged me tightly. He looked down at me with twinkling eyes and pressed his lips firmly to mine. I ran my fingers up through his soft hair and went with it. We made out like horny teenagers. It was getting too hot and heavy. I pulled back reluctantly and said he was a great kisser.
