Chapter 13

Patience Wrath and Sathanas dueling mates

I opened my eyes and saw Sathanas sleeping soundly next to me. I smiled at the sexy fucker and stretched. I'm bound to him, I giggled in my mind looking at his handsome face. I turned and saw it's two in the afternoon and frown as my stomach rumbled softly. I poked Sathanas to wake him. He mumbled softly and blinked his eyes open.

"I'm going to make something to eat, are you hungry," I asked curiously and he smiled and nodded.

"Let me go with you, I don't trust Wrath," he mumbled sadly and snapped his fingers, dressing himself in jeans and shirt. I hopped out of bed and pulled on some shorts. I wiggled my feet into slippers and waited for him to come to my side before opening my door. The house was quiet and it made me feel uneasy. We went down the stairs and I saw everyone in the living room chatting. Ida smiled at me and so did my brother. The sins ignored me. Wrath was eyeing us both with a frown. I grabbed Sathanas's hand and pulled him quickly into the kitchen. I headed to the refrigerator and Sathanas sat at the table. I was starting to make us both sandwiches when Wrath stormed in and glared at Sathanas.

"I will claim her as my own demon," he spat. Sathanas stood and headed towards me.

"Wrath you're an ignorant fool to trifle with me, I'm your creator and the son of Lucifer, do you honestly believe that you can beat me or take what is mine, you're only a deadly sin," Sathanas states, his size growing immensely. I glanced up at him and saw his true demon form. Strangely it didn't bother me and I smiled up at him. His red eyes glanced down at me and his clawed fingers brushed my cheek gently. I raised myself on my tippy toes, pulling on his arm to get him to lower his head and kissed his cheek. I shocked him and his demon chuckles. Wrath was growling deeply at us and we ignored him as we stared into each other's eyes.

"I love you, no matter what you look like," I mumbled softly and he pressed his lips against mine and kissed me softly. I smiled happily and continued with the sandwiches. I grabbed both plates and carried them to the table with Sathanas following behind me. We completely ignored Wrath and he watched us both in utter fury. I took a moment to glance over at him and I shuddered at the darkness that seemed to consume him. I watched him raise his hand and wave it across the floor and flames erupted across the wood. My eyes widened and my mouth dropped. Sathanas snapped his fingers angrily and it disappeared, including replacing the burnt floorboards.

"Grow the fuck up Wrath," he sneered at him. Wrath smirked smartly and the next thing I know I'm trapped with his arms around my waist. Sathanas stood up and slowly shook his head at him. I was in a complete panic. Sathanas disappeared from my eyes and I'm alone with Wrath in the middle of the fucking forest. I struggled to get him to release me but his fingers clamped down around my neck cutting off my air. Tears were falling from my eyes and Wrath loosened his hold.

"You will be mine, Patience, in this life or the next," he states firmly and pressed his lips forcefully against mine. Help me Sathanas, I screamed in my mind as Wrath ripped the shirt from my body. I kicked and scratched at him. He fucking laughed and squeezed my neck again, twisting my arms behind my back. I felt bones snapping. I saw black dots in my vision and my sight blurred. I was going to die. I felt it when my heart beat stopped and marvelled at the beautiful colors that assaulted my mind. I had visions of bright lights, marvelous colors, warmth and a feeling of my soul being stitched with another.

When I opened my eyes I was on Sathanas bed. I rubbed my eyes and frowned looking around his bedroom. I sit up and see Sathanas standing in the corner. I touched my neck and wiggled my fingers. Sathanas walks towards me and sits on the edge of my bed. I noticed that he looked more aged than he had before. A few silver streaks were present in his black hair. I thought it was attractive.
