Wrath trying to figure out Patience

I could smell bacon, pancakes and paint. I rubbed my eyes and noticed I had slept in my clothes. I scowled realizing I'd need to get new ones. I head into the bathroom and turn on the shower. Hot water steamed up the bathroom. I inhaled deeply and stripped, stepping underneath the boiling hot water. It felt amazing against my tattooed back. My huge mark identifying myself as one of the seven deadly sins, throbbed under the heat. Probably thinks you're in hell and is enjoying itself, Pride tells me in my mind. I rolled my eyes and told him to get the fuck out of my head. He chuckled and told me they would send me more cash and credit cards. I grunt and he leaves. You need to feed your sin Wrath, start a small skirmish in the middle east, Sloth muttered and I furrowed my brow. Damn you're good, Gluttony purred and I put my mind block back up not wanting to deal with my siblings at the moment. I finished my shower and wrapped the towel around my waist. I hated wearing clothes. I heard a knock on my door and yelled come in. Patience opened the door and gasped seeing my bare ass bent over pulling my jeans on. I turned as I adjusted my junk and zipped them up. Her face was completely red and I actually felt like I was going to laugh.

"I'm sorry I um, breakfast is ready, so come on down when you're ready," she muttered softly and quickly closed the door. That was close Wrath she almost saw your mark, pride tells me and I rolled my eyes. She already knows my name brother, I don't think the mark will mean shit to her, I say firmly and he tsked in my brain. I threw my shirt on and my socks, shoes before heading downstairs. I followed my nose to find my way. I walked into a very nice modern kitchen. It was apparent that Patience had remodeled this area first. I see metal crosses hanging on the walls with bible verses. I read them and shook my head.

"Sir, in the future, please be clothed before telling me that I may enter your room, it's not appropriate for me to see you unclothed," she stated with a frown. I bit my lip, damn it, I came really close to laughing again. My eyes danced in merriment as I nodded.

"For that I am sorry," I muttered and looked away from her intense blue eyes staring hard at me.

"What was your name again," she asked curiously.

"It's Wrath, ma'am," I mumble sourly.

She snickered,"like the sin, huh, well you certainly are a tall glass of something, what would you like to eat, mister sin." My mind was already deep in the gutter. Anything on your body Patience, just point to it, I thought and simply stated,"whatever you made, will be fine." Patience nodded and brought me a huge plate full of pancakes, eggs, bacon and four slices of toast.

"I've got coffee, milk, juice," she started and I said I'd take a beer. She raised her brow and eyed me strangely.

"Fine a black coffee," I snapped. She poured me a hot cup and set it before me.

"Sorry for getting snippy," I mumbled softly and she grinned and patted my shoulder. I inhaled sharply and eyed her suspiciously.

She raised both her hands and stepped away. I watched her go to the double sink and wash dishes. I ate all of the food. I burped into my fisted hand. She glanced at me and the plate and chuckled.

"Can you chop trees," she asked curiously. I eyed her blankly, wanting to tell her I could chop down entire countries, but I only nodded.

"There's a chainsaw in the shed in back and a dead tree that needs chopping, put the logs in the wood bin, if you're still here in the winter you'll be grateful for it," she laughed and I nodded my head.

"I um, need to purchase some more clothes, these are all I've got," I tell her bluntly. She wiped her hands on her thighs and walked up to me. She tilted her head and chewed her lips.

"I've got some of my husband's clothes still, they should fit you, he was a large man as well. I watched her run upstairs and she yelled down at me to follow. I got up and ran up after her. She went into her bedroom and left the door open. My eyes widened at the stunning room, and my eyes were drawn to the bookcase full of Theology books. I gritted my teeth seeing a large book sitting on the nightstand of the seven deadly sins. if she saw my back, she'd know for certain what I truly was, I knew there were drawn images of the seven symbols. She went into a walk-in closet and grabbed a stack of clothes.

"Here you go, hope they will help," she smiled slightly as she released them into my hands. I eyed her curiously and could see the moisture collecting in her eyes.

"If it's going to bother you, I have money and can get my own," I mumbled softly, surprising myself. Patience closed her eyes and shook her head.

"No, I was going to donate them to the church, so really, it's okay," she sighed sadly and closed the closet. I took the pile to my bedroom and laid them on the bed. I shook out a pair of the denim jeans and held them to my hips. I was shocked that him and I were similar in size. A knock at the door had me lay the jeans on the bed to answer it. Patience hands me a brand new package of men's boxers.

"I noticed that you um, weren't wearing any, so here," she hands them to me with pink cheeks. I did chuckle, damn it. Her eyes lit up and she smiled.

"Thanks," I tell her, holding the package up. She nodded and turned to leave me. I rummaged through the clothes and put on a pair of boxers, worn jeans and a t-shirt. I put my tennis shoes back on and went downstairs.

"Show me the dead tree," I say to Patience, noticing she's getting ready to finish the half painted room. She was wearing a red t-shirt and cutoff shorts. Her legs were a golden brown. She eyed me strangely and shrugged. Patience tells me to follow her and we go through the home to a back door. My eyes widened at the sight. There were chickens, ducks wandering around the fenced in backyard and a nice patio with furniture. Patience points to a large dead oak tree and explains that it needs to be cut down. I saw the shed and the wood bin. I rolled my eyes and nodded heading towards the shed. I glanced at her going back into the house and sighed. I checked to make sure she couldn't see me and snapped my fingers. I grinned at the perfectly cut tree. Shame you can't move it eh, brother, Pride chuckled in my mind. I rolled my eyes and started loading up my arms and dumping it into the partially full wood bin. When I finally finished the bin was full. I brushed my hands against my pants and reentered the house. I walked into the room to see Patience on a step ladder, music was blaring and she had a paint roller in her hand. She pretended the roller was a microphone and belted the song lyrics into it. I saw her losing her step and rushed to her side. I furrowed my brow at the wetness covering my face. Patience was laying in my arms and the paint roller had gone down my face and was resting on my chest. Her eyes were wide looking up at me. Suddenly she burst into hearty laughter.

"I'm so sorry, you look like a smurf," she says between chuckles. I wiped my face and saw my hand covered in dark blue paint. I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes, certain I just started a war somewhere. Patience handed me a towel and I wiped my eyes. I looked at her and tilted my head. She was giggling and I wiped my hand against her cheek and cracked a grin. She scowled and moved the roller up my chest and neck. My brow raised and I wiped my hand on her other cheek. She scrunched up her little nose and bent over grabbing a paint brush. She waved it in front of me. I actually laughed loudly and we both were taken back by the sound.

"I think that's enough for play time, you better go get yourself cleaned up," she mumbled softly and returned to painting the wall. I sighed and nodded. I went up the stairs and looked at my blue hands.

"Um, Patience, could you maybe start the shower for me, my hands are covered in paint," I mumbled curiously, glancing over the stair railing at her. She looked up at me and nodded. She sat the brush down and rushed upstairs to my room.

"Leave it on hot," I mumbled and removed the t-shirt. She exited the bathroom and slipped by me. I heard her gasp behind me and fingers touching my back. I felt a strange current run through my nerve endings. I turned and Patience's face was white.

"That's a huge strange tattoo on your back," she mumbled softly, backing away slowly. Told you she'd know dumbass, Pride yelled out in my brain. I turned to Patience and sighed.

"We can discuss it after I get cleaned up, okay," I stated simply and she chewed on her lip and nodded her head. I grunted and headed to the shower hearing the bedroom door shut.
