Hey guys, I'm thankful for the people reading my book, I mean the day I uploaded this I had 16 reads in 3 hours, I know that doesn't seem like much, but this is my first ever book and to know people are wanting to read my content is inspiring. I know I shouldn't write this but to help a writer out could you please press the vote button, it only takes a sec. It would also be nice if you guys post your reactions in the chat or comments. Your thoughts on what I could do to make it better would be awesome. I'm not going to ask you to follow, as I feel as that would be too much. When Pepper and Rhodey left the hospital, they were adamant that they wanted to adopt the child. After talking to him for 2 hours, they learnt as much as they could about the nine-year-old boy. From what his favourite colour is, to what he wants to become when he's older. James is a kind, caring and genius kid. That held so much resemblance but so many unique qualities to Tony Stark. James is a genius there's no doubt about that, he inherited that from his father, but he was a genius without the flamboyancy and the ego.
If Tony was ever to arrive back home he was in for a hell of a surprise.
When Pepper arrived back at the hospital she found the boy in the hospital bed asleep. She didn't want to wake him, so she opted for the chair in the back of the room, whilst she waited, she decided to finish off some paper-work regarding the adoption, or recognition.
When James awoke he could hear the typing of a keyboard in the corner of the room. He lifted his head to see Pepper typing away, caught in her world. He wanted to scare her, as many young boys do so, so he slowly and quietly got out of bed careful not to make any noise. He slowly went beside her and shouted.
"BOO"
Pepper jumped and screamed, James, curled into a fit of laughter. The doctor nearby heard the scream and ran to the room. When he entered and saw Pepper calming her racing heart, he swooned, not many pretty ladies come through this hospital so he took this as a chance.
"Maam, are you alright?"
Pepper looked up to see a man, around mid-fifties staring at her.
"Yes, I am thank you for asking though."
"Well if you do need something just call, or in your case scream."
The Doctor then proceeded to laugh at his joke, and slowly left the room, glancing back to see here one last time. James was still laughing, but now for a different reason. He slowly got back into bed not wanting to damage his legs.
"He was staring at you with googly eyes."
Pepper looked at James in confusion, silently questioning what he meant. James started blinking rapidly whilst saying...
"He had a crush on you, and was doing googly eye's."
When Pepper figured out what he meant she laughed along with him.
When all things regarding the adoption were completed, James was allowed to leave. All hospital bills were paid by the Stark Industries Bank. And James would now have a new home, it would be a long road for everyone, and James still suffering from the Trauma would have the longest.
