My heavy eye lids lifted from my sockets, however my vision was still blurry and fuzzy. As i tried to make out where i was, my head started to throb with pain and i suddenly remembered what happened. Oh, this can't be good...
After realising where I was, i tried standing up but couldn't for i was tied down to a worn down chair, very tightly. Shoot, well I ain't getting out of here anytime soon. The tatty rope that was wrapped around my torso, was also tied to the wooden piece of furniture making my escape impossible. Glancing around me, i discovered something that caught my attention, something familiar, a trident. Negative feelings filled my body and because i was being held in a small room that had barely any light, i knew in an instant that i was either, A: underground or B: inside the palace itself. Squinting my eyes, i could just about see the outline of another person inside of the room i was in. Huh. I swear i'm not alone in here. My flesh was burning and although my curiosity dominated over my fear, i still felt as though i was going to be in grave danger. As the strange figure approached i could see horns coming out of the head, their hair scruffy and uncombed lay plastered on the forehead. Still watching this person coming out of the dark i then realised who it was. Satan. My whole entire body started to burn, almost like i had acid thrown at my fuselage. Quietly grunting to myself, i tried to loosen the ropes from my arms for they were tightly wrapped, as they were cutting off part of my blood circulation. The king of hell had his hands behind his back, walking slowly towards me, with his eyes glowing bright red with rage.
"I want to know what you're doing here." He sternly stuttered. I looked straight into his cold eyes, refusing to tell him anything. I'm not telling you anything.
"Very well. We have a few files and documents about you, Hunter. If you want me to spare you and save me from wasting my breath, i suggest you start talking now."
What the f*ck. did you just read my mind?
"I did. If you don't comply with me, i have ways of making you talk."
I-i feel like you don't want me to stall. *sigh.* fine i'll talk.
"Good choice."
"I haven't actually been placed anywhere. I have no idea if i'm meant to be here let alone in this random room where ever the hell we are. I also committed suicide."
"Now, that wasn't too hard was it?"
"..."
"I think we have a stowaway in the palace. You're lucky I haven't called the guards to kill you yet, so i have some things i would like from you."
"Like what?"
"Your blood. My peasants- i mean subjects haven't had the taste of blood for a while. This is a treat for them."
"Well that's a little psychotic. You didn't even ask for my permission."
"I would advise you to keep that trap of yours shut. Now, I need to get the needles. Stay there. Don't. Move."
Damn. I don't even know how i get myself into these situations. First, i end up in a strange field, then i barely escape a fire, witnesses a murder and then get put in a strange room with the king of the underworld himself. God. I'm surprised I haven't died a second time.
"Well i'm shocked you actually stayed put. Most people try to escape."
"Most people!? You mean to tell me that you've had multiple people in here?"
"Ortiz, i think you've been talking too much."
No one has referred to me as Ortiz before. That's peculiar.
"Ortiz. Arm, now."
"Stop referring to me as my last name. It's creepy."
"May i remind you that you're talking to a king, so i deserve better treatment from you."
"Fine. I'll give you my arm"
"Good."
As he injected me, i flinched, not with pain but discomfort. I had never been in pain before when jabs were being done, but it always made me flinch with irritation.
"Stay still. If you move it will make it worse!"
"Wow. I wish i was told that BEFORE you started pushing a needle into my skin."
"I don't like you attitude."
"And I don't like yours."
Within a split second, the needle was removed from my flesh and a small trickle of my crimson red blood was left dripping down my shoulder.
"Y'know for an seventeen year old, you act like a toddler."
"Not my problem. All my life i've been referred to as a mistake."
"Well, that's not my problem either, so we're even."
"..."
"You're not leaving this spot until i return."
"Where are you going?!"
"To run your blood through a DNA scan, why else?"
"This isn't a scheme to kill me is it?"
"Ortiz, why would i do that?"
"You're keeping me here against my will, you won't let me leave and you're literally passing my blood through a testing machine."
"I'll keep a light on. In the mean time, you're going to stay here until i come back to get you."
"F*ck you."
"Oh, and one more thing. I know what happened to your mother."
Before i could say anything else to him, he had teleported away.
A*shole.
I quickly looked around me trying to find a way to get myself out of the room i was being kept in, but couldn't even find any sharp objects to cut the ropes off my arms.
So i'm stuck here with no way of getting out, my hands are tied down to this stupid chair and I can't move from my original spot. *sigh.* well this is going to a long wait.
