Summary: You go on an ice skating trip with the Dekusquad that soon became a date for you and Todoroki.

It was around Christmas and you were hanging out with the Dekusquad at lunch. You guys wanted to hang out somewhere together before going home and celebrating this holiday season with your families.

This year, you and your boyfriend, Shoto Todoroki, were planning to go and visit your parents and introduce Todoroki to them. He would take you home to see his family, but he didn't want to see his father, so he promised you that he'll take you to meet them another time.

"So, where do you guys want to go?" asked Uraraka. "We have to hang out before going. Plus, it'd probably be fun."

"Hmm, how about an ice skating rink, kero," suggested Asui. "It fit for the winter season and there's one that's at the park nearby."

"Great idea, Asui," said Iida. "It does fit the Christmas season."

"I told you to call me Tsu," said Asui.

"I think that this is a good idea too," said Midoriya. "But I'm not very good at skating."

"It's okay, Deku," said Uraraka. "I'll teach you and help you if you need."

You look over at your boyfriend, who was listening to the conversation intently while eating his soba. 

"What do you think, babe?" you asked him. "Do you think it's a good idea?"

He swallows and replies, "Yeah, sounds pretty cool. I skate pretty well too. What about you? Do you want to go?"

"Honestly, you guys pick," you answered. "I'll go anywhere. As long as we have fun, then I'm going."

"Then it's settled," said Iida. "We'll meet at the rink at 3:00 tomorrow, yes? Does that sound like a good time for everyone?"

You all nod and continued eating your lunches and planned out what you guys were going to do tomorrow.

The next day, you were at the skating rink early, since you've never skated much before and you wanted to practice. You got some skates and entered the rink and tried walking. You started out pretty good, but you slipped. Just before you hi the ground, someone grabs your arm and helps you to stand up. It was Todoroki.

"Y/N?" he asked you. He was surprised that you were here. "What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here until 3:00."

"I could ask you the same thing," you replied. Earlier, he had said that he needed to go somewhere, but he'll come back in time to pick you up and get you to the rink. "You said that you needed to be somewhere. This was where you were needed?"

"Yeah, the rink broke and my friend, who was working here, called me and asked if I could help patch up the place," replied Todoroki. "Apparently, one spot of the rink was thinner than the rest, so it broke when someone skated on it. The person is okay, though. What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to get some practice in since I don't skate much. Do you think you could teach me?"

"Is this another way of asking me on a date?"

You got flustered and your face turned red. "I-I guess. I mean it's only the two of us right now."

"I mean you could've just said it directly."

"I didn't mean it like that, Shoto."

"It's okay. I was just teasing you anyways. That was meant to ask you if you wanted to count this as a date. Here, take my hand. Just follow my lead."

He holds your hand and teaches you the basic steps of skating. You fell a few times, but he didn't laugh at you. Instead, he helped you up and encouraged you to keep going.

"Todoroki, I don't think that I can keep going," you complained. "I keep falling and not getting anywhere."

"You're doing great, Y/N," said Todoroki. "Please keep trying. Remember this is just practice. It's okay to fall."

"But other people would laugh," you said. "Plus, it hurts to fall and then stand up and keep going."

"People are supposed to fall, Y/N. Come on, you can do it. I know you can. Please, do this for me."

You stood up and started skating next to him. You did eventually got the hang of skating and then you didn't need Todoroki's help anymore.

You guys took a break and bought some hot chocolate at a cafe nearby. Todoroki pulled out your chair for you and then he sat down across from you.

"Thanks for teaching me, Shoto," you thanked him. "I thought that skating would be easier, but it's actually pretty hard. You make it look so easy, Shoto."

"Well, my quirk makes me train in skating a lot," replied Todoroki. "The ice part of it. I'm glad that you go the hang of it."

"Why would you keep telling me to keep going when I fell? Did you fall a lot when you started? I fell a lot back there."

"Everyone has to fall at least once in one trip during skating. Of course I fell a lot when I first started skating. I didn't have anyone to help me though."

"Your father didn't help you?"

"That old man taught me to use my fire more than my ice. And I told you to keep going because I don't want to feel discouraged. You were doing so well too."

"Thanks, Shoto."

"Plus, I thought that it was cute. You looked cute when you fell."

You blushed after he teased you and you just drank your hot chocolate. He chuckles and drinks his from his cup too. Suddenly, you heard someone call out your name. You turned over and you saw Midoriya and the rest of the Dekusquad.

"There you two are," said Uraraka. "We searched the whole park for you two. You two weren't at the dorms either, so we got worried."

"You guys should at least tell us that you have gotten here already," said Iida. "I was here ten minutes the meeting time, but you weren't here, so I thought that you guys didn't come yet."

"You made us look for the two of you for ten minutes, kero," said Asui. "We were really worried. Thanks to Midoriya, who saw you through the window of the cafe, that we knew where you two were."

You picked up your phone and you looked at the time. It was 3:10. "Sorry guys. I guess me and Shoto just didn't keep track of time."

"Sorry for making you guys worry," said Todoroki.

"Was this like a date for the two of you?" asked Midoriya. Uraraka nudged him for him to keep his mouth shut. You and Todoroki looked at each other and laughed. This date is definitely a date that you two would remember for a long time.

Yay, another one posted! Thank you Wattpad for the inspiration LOL. I looked at the ranking for this book and the most impressive one was in todorokixreader when I haven't written one yet. I was planning to write him next anyways. I hope you guys liked this one! Todoroki's back story will always make me feel so bad for him, but he isn't one of my favorite characters (sorry Iida, Aizawa, Present Mic, and Sir Nighteye just has my heart).
