The snow fell gently outside the window, casting a serene blanket over the campus. Natsuo Todoroki, your boyfriend and fellow student, sat at a desk in the library, surrounded by textbooks and notes. The soft glow of Christmas lights adorned his room, attempting to infuse a festive spirit into the air.

It was the week before Christmas, and the air was filled with the festive spirit. The campus was adorned with twinkling lights, and a light dusting of snow painted a picturesque scene. The cheerfulness of the season, however, seemed a stark contrast to the turmoil in Natsuo's mind.

Sighing, he ran a hand through his snow white hair, a visible sign of his inner struggle. You approached, determined to bring a semblance of calm to his turbulent thoughts.

"Hey, Natsuo," you greeted him, pulling out a chair and sitting across from him. "Mind if I join you?"

He looked up, his eyes weary but appreciative. "Sure, anything to break this monotony." He looks back down at his notes.

You brought him a cup of hot cocoa that you had made in the library lobby. "Thought you could use a break."

He looked up to see your face, offering a small but appreciative smile. "Thanks. I feel like my brain's turning into mush."

You settled into the chair next to him, handing him a cup. "Well, mush isn't going to help you ace those exams. Maybe a little cocoa break will."

A faint smile touched his lips. "I appreciate it, but I really need to get this done."

"I get it," you replied. "But you've been at it for hours. A short break won't hurt, and it's Christmas time. We should enjoy it."

With a small sigh, Natsuo relented, picking up the cup and sipping from it. The flavors seemed to distract him momentarily from the weight of his studies and family issues. It was a small victory, but you were determined to turn this into a memorable Christmas for him.

As he took a sip, you glanced at the notes scattered across the desk he was sitting at. "Look, Natsuo, I know it's tough right now. Your family situation, the holidays approaching... But you can't let it consume you. You're strong, and I believe in you. Let's get through this week together."

He nodded, a mix of gratitude and fatigue in his eyes. "I appreciate that. It's just hard. I can't shake off the worry."

You understood the weight of his concern. Todoroki family dynamics were complicated, to say the least. But for now, you wanted to offer a distraction, a brief respite. "How about we make a deal? Study for an hour, then we take a break. Maybe a change of scenery is just what you need."

You both tackled some of the material on his exams. After an hour, you packed up his study materials and headed to a cozy café near the campus. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the gentle hum of conversation created a more relaxed atmosphere.

"So, what's been bothering you?" you asked gently, stirring your drink. "You've seemed a bit off lately."

Natsuo hesitated before opening up about the complexities of his family situation. The burden of being the eldest of the Todoroki siblings weighed heavily on him, especially during times of discord at home. As he spoke, you listened attentively, offering support and understanding.

As the conversation unfolded, you realized that, apart from the academic stress, Natsuo needed a mental escape from his family troubles. And what better time for that than Christmas?

You decide to take a walk around in the nearby park to keep Natsuo moving and distracted from family issues. All the trees in the park were covered with lights, making it a beautiful place to be walking around at night. Natsuo looks at all the trees in awe. The task was surprisingly therapeutic, and the simple act of walking and viewing lights brought a smile to Natsuo's face.

"See?" you teased. "Even a Todoroki can enjoy the holiday spirit."

He chuckled, a rare sound that warmed your heart. "Thank you for this," he said, looking genuinely grateful. "I needed a break, and I forgot how to enjoy the little things."

But you weren't done yet. You still had a surprise for him.

I've got a surprise for you."

He raised an eyebrow. "A surprise? What is it?"

"Can't spoil it. Just come with me and you'll see!"

You took him to visit a sushi restaurant for him to indulge in his favorite dish, sashimi. The prospect of fresh, succulent slices of fish seemed to revive his spirits. The two of you savored the meal, the rich flavors providing a temporary escape from the challenges he faced.

Back at the library, with a belly full of sashimi and a heart a bit lighter, Natsuo delved back into his studies. This time, however, there was a newfound determination in his eyes. The weight on his shoulders had eased, if only for a moment.

As the night wore on, you saw a change in Natsuo's demeanor. The weight on his shoulders seemed to lift, if only temporarily. Laughter punctuated your study sessions, and he tackled the material with renewed focus.

When the library was about to close, you closed the textbooks. "That's it for today. You did great."

Natsuo stretched, exhaustion evident but a spark of accomplishment in his eyes. "Thanks, really. I needed this."

"Anytime," you replied. "Now get some rest. Tomorrow is a new day."

As you both left the library, you couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. You might not be able to solve all of Natsuo's problems, but for tonight, you helped him stay focused and find a moment of joy amidst the chaos.

He took you back to his dorm room to spend the night at his place. When you walked in, you were disappointed to see that it was plain and no decorations were up yet. This fueled your determination. The two of you decided to make the most of the festive season. After going through all the junk he had, you ask him to join you in decorating a small Christmas tree in the café.

"Merry Christmas, Natsuo," you whispered as the clock struck midnight, kissing him gently on the cheek.

His smile held genuine warmth. "Merry Christmas. Thank you for helping me stay focused and for making this Christmas special."

The snow continued to fall outside, on the quiet Christmas night, covering the campus in a quiet, comforting hush. You and Natsuo continued your studies, guided by the gentle glow of lights and the promise of a brighter future.
