As the day began, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement tinged with a hint of mischief. Today was a special day, one that you had been eagerly awaiting. But there was one small detail that you had conveniently overlooked – or rather, pretended to overlook.

Shigaraki Tomura's birthday.

As the leader of the League of Villains and your boyfriend, Tomura had a reputation for being ruthless and calculating. But behind that facade was a vulnerable side that few ever saw. And today, you were determined to show him just how much you cared.

Throughout the day, you went about your usual routine, feigning ignorance of the significance of the date. But inside, you were busy making preparations for a surprise birthday party that would leave Shigaraki speechless.

You had been planning his surprise party for weeks now, carefully orchestrating every detail to ensure it would be a day he'd never forget. But for now, you had to play the part of the forgetful partner, the one who always seemed to have a million things on their mind.

As you heard the door creak open, you quickly tucked the calendar away, turning to face Shigaraki with a casual smile.

"Hey, welcome home," you greeted him, trying to keep your excitement in check.

He grunted in response, dropping his bag onto the floor and slumping into a chair. His crimson eyes bore into yours, a mix of exhaustion and irritation evident in his gaze.

"Long day?" you asked, trying to gauge his mood.

"Same as always," he muttered, running a hand through his messy hair. "Dealing with idiots who can't follow orders."

You suppressed a sigh, knowing all too well the pressures he faced as the leader of the League of Villains. But today wasn't about work or stress. It was about celebrating him, the person behind the villainous facade.

Tomura called out to you. "Hey..."

You froze, your heart pounding in your chest. Had he figured out your plan?

He motioned for you to come closer, his expression unreadable. "I know you forgot my birthday, but I don't really care about that stuff anyway."

You blinked, caught off guard by his nonchalant attitude. "Uh, yeah, of course. Birthdays are overrated, right?"

He shrugged, a ghost of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Exactly. So, no need to make a big deal out of it."

You nodded, relief washing over you. "Got it. How about you relax? I'll make something for you."

"No need," he said as he waved his hand in the air. Tomura let himself fall back onto the nearby sofa. "I just need to relax."

"Alright then. I need to go out for an errand. I'll be right back! Oh but before I go... I have something to tell you."

He raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "Oh? What's that?"

You leaned in conspiratorially, lowering your voice as if sharing a secret. "I may or may not have forgotten something important."

Tomura's eyes narrowed, suspicion flickering across his features. "What did you forget?"

You feigned innocence, shrugging nonchalantly. "Just something... insignificant."

His gaze bore into yours, but you held your ground, refusing to crack under the pressure. After a moment of tense silence, he seemed to relent, leaning back in his chair with a huff.

"Fine," he grumbled, clearly unimpressed. "Just don't expect me to bail you out if you screwed up."

With a smirk, you watched him leave the room, knowing full well that he hadn't bought your act for a second. But that was all part of the plan.

The next day, you woke up early, excitement bubbling in your chest as you set the stage for Shigaraki's surprise party, getting everything ready. As evening approached, you made your way to the League of Villains' hideout, your heart pounding with anticipation. You had enlisted the help of the other members, and together, you had transformed the usually dark and gloomy space into a festive celebration.

Inside the warehouse, the party was in full swing. The League of Villains had gone all out, decorating the space with streamers and balloons. Music blared from a makeshift stereo, and the air was filled with the sound of laughter and chatter.

As Shigaraki entered the hideout, you greeted him with a nonchalant smile, careful to keep your excitement hidden beneath a mask of indifference. "Hey, Tomura. How was your day?"

He grunted in response, seemingly uninterested in small talk. But you could see a flicker of curiosity in his eyes as he glanced around the room, taking in the decorations and the group of villains gathered there.

"Surprise!" you exclaimed, stepping forward and revealing the birthday cake adorned with candles.

"Happy birthday!" the League of Villains chorused, their voices echoing off the walls.

Tomura's eyes widened in disbelief, his usual stoic expression melting away to reveal a hint of vulnerability. "What is all this?"

"It's your birthday, silly," you replied, unable to contain your grin any longer. "And we wanted to celebrate with you."

"Seriously?" he muttered, but there was a softness in his voice that hadn't been there before.

For a moment, Tomura seemed at a loss for words. But then, a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and he stepped forward to inspect the cake. "I... I didn't think anyone remembered."

You placed a hand on his shoulder, meeting his gaze with warmth and sincerity. "Of course we remembered, Tomura. You mean a lot to us, and we wanted to show you that."

The other members of the League of Villains chimed in, offering their well-wishes and raising their glasses in a toast to Tomura. For the first time, he seemed truly touched by their gestures, a rare moment of vulnerability that spoke volumes about the depth of his connection to the group.

As the party wound down and the members departed, leaving just the two of you alone in the quiet hideout, Tomura pulled you into a tight embrace.

"Thank you," he murmured into your ear, his voice filled with genuine warmth. "For everything."

You hugged him back, feeling the weight of his gratitude and the depth of his affection. In that moment, you knew that no matter how many battles he faced or how many enemies he conquered, he would always be your Tomura – vulnerable, imperfect, and utterly, irrevocably, yours.

And as you stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, you realized that sometimes, the greatest surprises in life were the ones that came from the heart. You couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to make him happy.

Because in the end, that's all that mattered.
