Chapter Five━━ Fledgling

Once Benny came up with the perfect idea, he called up his grandma, Evelyn. Ethan and Liz sat Jane down to inform her about her new babysitter whilst the three go out for a bit.
Benny lets Evelyn in.
"Oh, thanks grandma. You're a life saver." Benny says as Evelyn walks inside.
"Anytime, dear." Evelyn says sweetly.
Jane was sat at the island, complaining to her older siblings.
"She smells funny." Jane whines as she crosses her arms over her chest.
"No she doesn't." Ethan whispers.
"Geez. S-she smells nice. Like flowers and... mothballs." Liz looks to Ethan before he walks over towards Benny.
"Alright. Now, if the pizza isn't here in... 26 minutes, you don't pay a dime." Benny explains to his grandma.
"Okay. We... will be right back. Promise." Ethan informs the older woman and younger girl.
"I hate being 8." Jane pouts.
"Well, I did too. You'll get over it next year." Liz ruffles Jane's hair with a dorky smile.
Jane swats her hand away as Liz joins the boys.

As they walk out the house, Benny goes through his bag to pull out all of his gadgets.
"What is all that stuff?" Liz asks as they walk down the side walk.
Benny fumbles with his things.
"TG cams with night vision infrared. You can't possibly expect us to investigate the supernatural realm without the proper equipment." Benny explains trying to keep his balance and gadgets steady.
"Fine. Just keep it down a little. Sarah already thinks I'm a perv." Ethan shushes Benny and lowers his hand to make him lower his volume.
"You tried to listen to her whilst she was in our bathroom." Liz states.
Ethan and Liz start bickering back and forth like normal siblings. Inaudible sounds and words escape their mouths as they also push each other around. If one of them pushed the other it just urged the other to push the other.
When Benny noticed the two had stop walking to hit each other, he steps in to break them up. Only ending up being sucked into the pushing. Benny joins in pushing Ethan, helping Liz out.
