It's been some time since eveyone last saw Sarah. The last time Ethan saw her was when she was sucking the vampire venom out of his arm. Liz, however, last saw her in the air. Her, Rory, and Erica had all taken Sarah to get a late night snack. The next thing they knew, Sarah was flying up into the night sky, the moon light cascading down on her, as she flew away into the night.
Everyone was starting to get worried about her. They hadn't her from at all since the dance. The same dance tha Liz figured out the mysterious girl she kept running into, Kate, was a witch and on their side.
Ever since then, Kate and Liz became friends. The two talked about magic and Liz's ancestors. Kate found it intriguing and reported it back to her mom. When she heard the name Daliah, she quickly jumped into her car and went out into town. Or that's what Kate's mom told her.
Liz and Evelyn kept their plan going, too. Liz went over to the Weir's residence every Saturday at 12 p.m. sharp and they started practicing magic. Liz wasn't making any progress, though.
Evelyn gave Liz some books to read over anf marked some spells to try out for beginners. And that's exactly what she was doing right now. Sitting on her carpet, Liz sat before a half circle of lit candles with a book out in front of her knees. Rory was laid on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. He was bored and knew Liz was practicing tonight. He offered to be a guinea pig. The spell she was trying was a body manifestion. Rory was to stay still as Liz chanted out the spell. He was supposed to feel himself leave his earth-bound body and walk around as a spirit.
"Is it supposed to tickle?" Rory asks.
"Shh!" Liz hushed him.
"So when it works, do I, like, die? I don't want to die, Liz. But I am a vampire. I'm already dead. Do I double-die? I don't want to double-die."
