As the sun began to set in the small town, it was the changing of seasons
Freya had begun her night shift at the 'bent elbow', East ends most popular bar leaving everyone else at home
Tommy had told Wendy he was going to hangout with a few friends while golfing so Wendy was left with Katie waiting for Tommy but everyone they fell asleep
Wendy woke up to the girl coughing she sat up quickly and Katie started to throw up all over her bed sheets
Wendy went over and rubbed her back untill she finished, knowing that it was to late to make it to the toilet
Once Katie finished the Woman she picked the girl up "Looks like you got the flu Munchkin" Katie.goans
"I don't feel good Wendie"
she paused to look at the clock and sees its 1am and Tommy still isn't home "I know sweetie" she says as she gets her a new nightgown and then helps her put it on, she picks Katie up and sets her down on her own bed "You can lay in my bed sweetheart" she says softly "I'll be back in here in a minute"
She wrappes her silk red robe around her body tying the knot above her big belly, She gathers Katie messy beding and pajamas and carries them down stairs , she throws them into the washer and rushes to the kitchen
She was tired, having back aches and now she had to take care of a sick child whos father was out gallivanting which made her angry
She had gotten Katie a glass of water and now she was searching the medicen cabinet for childrens flu medication, but couldn't find any in the process of looking for the medication she ended up knocking down half the bottles onto the floor "God mother fucking damnnnn it" she mutters as she squats down onto the ground and starts picking up bottles
"Wendy what are you doing" she hears her sisters thick accent
Joanna stood waiting for a response
Wendy stood up and leaned against the counter "Katie is sick, Tommy hasn't come home yet and I have bad cramps, and now I have to go to town and find medicine because we dont have any"
Joanna could clearly tell her sister was frustrated "Let me help yo-"
Wendy grabbed the water "can you just" wendy was very annoyed "just watch Katie for me" she handed her the cup
With out another word she changed into clothes and left the house, she tried calling Tommy but his phone kept going to voicemail making her worried
She was at the pharmacy getting children's flu medicine when Freya called her
"Hello?"
"Aunt Wendy I need you to come to the bent elbow" Freya sounded flustered
Wendy walked towards the checkout "Freya it's 2 in the morning wh-"
Freya sighed "Your gonna want to see this"
Wendy breathed heavily "Okay fine, Im on my way" she hung up and payed for the item
She drove to the bar in agony because of how much pain her back was causing her
Freya ssw her aunt walk into the bar and she knowticed she looked annoyed so this definitely wasn't going to be pretty
She walked up to her aunt "Freya why did you call me here at this time?"
Freya grabbed her aunts hand "I love you Wendy thats why I needed you to see it for yourself" she dragged her to the far back corner of the bar
"Whats goin-" Wendy begun but Freya pointed to a specific table
Wendy gasped "Im so sorry Wendy" she heard her niece
The pregnant women had steam blowing out her ears as she watched her man sit there with another woman, Laughing and touching hands
Before Wendy could do or say anything Tommy and his slut kissed
She glared at him and stormed up to the table "So..." she said making Tommy break apart from the girl and look at her making his eyes go wide "...your telling me ive been at home taking care of Katie while shes sick and your here sticking you tongue down some tramps throat" she was beyond angry
"Hey!" The drunk 20 yearold stuttered standing up "Dont talk about mmee that wayy you buffalo"
Freya was about to put her magic to use when Wendy grabbed her by her fake blonde extensions and slammed her head into the table making all eyes in the bar go to them
Tommy stood up and helped the blonde up and sat her in a chair not daring to look amd his girlfriend
Tommy had tears in his eyes "Im sorr-"
"Oh your sorry" she grabbed his glass of vodka
Freya opened her hand making a bottle of Jack Daniel's appear
"You lied to me!" Wendy shouted forcing the tears, she threw the glass at his head, but he ducked just in time for it to shatter on the wall behind him "You Tommy Cole did the one thing I thought nobody would do to me" she yelled
Freya handed her the whiskey bottle and Wendy tipped it over his head and he didnt bother in doing anything, because he wad trying to remember what happened "Baby please" he cried
The bottle become empty and she threw it on the floor "No!" A tear slipped her eye
She got up close to his face and sent a hard slap to his cheek "You broke my heart" she whispered and backed up over by Freya "Don't bother coming home"
She shot him one last heart shattering, icey glare before turning around walking out with Freya by her side
Wendy opened the driver's side door and second she did she clutched her heart and sobbed
Freya scooted over and layed her head on her aunts shoulder, listening to Wendys cries and feeling her shakes, shes never seen Wendy cry like this before
Wendy didnt care if Freya watched her slowly fall into a pit of darkness. When she was younger she vowed to herself that she would never be heartbroken over someone who treated her like shit, but back then she didnt love anyone but her family, i guess it was her bad to think that Tommy was different
