The following day, Wendy was released from the hospital and Tommy and Katie stayed in bed with her keeping her company and making sure she rested all weekend. But when Monday rolled around there was a different plan
Tommy was all dressed in his uniform ready to leave for work, he walked over to the bed where Wendy was fast asleep cuddled up to loads of pillows
He sat gently on her side of the bed and started moving the hair out of her face smiling down at her
Slowly Wendy opened her eyes, she smiled lightly up at him
Their was natural light coming in from the window which made the room light up since there was very light colored decor
Tommy leaded down and pressed a feather light kiss to her lips, he lifted his head up and goofily grinned at her before standing up and flinging the covers off of her body
She looked up at him curiously
Tommy smiled at her "Come on" he said motioning for her to move her body so he could help her up
Wendy groaned before siting up and moving so she had her legs dangling on of the side
Tommy gave her his hands and he lifted her up from the bed
Wendy sighed and went to hug him
Tommy rubbed her back and kissed the top of her head
Wendy looked up at him and smiled "Are you going to work" she said calmly
"Yes, but I'm taking you somewhere first"
Wendy frowned "No, I don't want to go anywhere"
Tommy chuckled "Well you are, I'm not going to let you stay here alone" he paused "especially after what happened"
Wendy looked down, she felt bad for worrying him so bad "Where are you taking me"
Tommy turned her around leading her to the bathroom "your gonna stay at your sissters till I get home"
Wendy lulled her head back and groaned "No"
Tommy laughed and helped her tie her hair back in a medium ponytail with the bangs hanging out "You can't argue me on this"
Wendy turned around to face him and looked into his eyes, she could tell how much her needed her to be watched just in case, she knew he was worried, she sighed and leaned up and kissed his lips gently "Okay" she whispered
Tommy smiled at her
Wemdy pulled way from the kiss "Im not changing though" she said sternly
Tommy put his hands up "I wasn't gonna ask you to" he laughed
She was wearing a white maternity nightgown that had cute little flowers it
She turned around and cupped her belly and looked in the mirror as Tommy snaked his arms around her waist and cupped her belly as well
