Sunoo stood on the terrace roof, his skin coloured in hot gold due to the rising Sun.

Leaning across the railing, he looked upon the city from the twenty floors high drop and smiled softly to himself.

This city was associated with all his happiness, his memories, and he would do anything to protect it from all sorts of enemies.

His police badge shining on his shoulder reminded him of the pledge he took to protect this city.

"Busy thinking?" Came Jungwon's voice from behind, "What did you calculate, huh?". Sunoo turned around and shrugged casually.

"I don't know, I really don't know. We have no leads whatsoever about the Nidra." He said begrudgingly, "But anyway, why are you here? I thought you liked the AC cabin more."

"I do." Said Jungwon softly, "But I just got news from one of the officers. It's another murder, by the Nidra."

Sunoo scowled visibly. These Nidra rats had striked again and he couldn't do anything to stop it. It was just too frustrating.

"Sunoo," Jungwon said quietly, "This murder might give us a clue." Immediately, Sunoo turned his head towards Jungwon, his complete attention on the other's words.

One clue was all he needed to pull out those sewage pests.

"The last murder and the recent one were both done in the same area, at the same time. And in the same method." He reported.

"Well," Sunoo said disdainfully, "Thats good, but useless to us. We have figured out it's a group, and two attacks in one place doesn't mean the Nidra lives there."

"Listen." Jungwon said impatiently, "The latest murder victim was abducted from a different spot and bought to that area."

Oh, now this makes things interesting.

"What do you mean?" Sunoo asked, his eyes narrowing, "Why would they do that....unless,"

"Exactly." The other deadpanned, "There is someone or something the Nidra wants, and it's in that area. We need to go there."

********
"Thanks." Muttered Heeseung as he reached out to hold Jay's extended hand.

They were near the NeoPort's backside slum and every spot was filled with potholes and rocks that Heeseung couldn't climb over without Jay's strong hand.

The morning rays graced them as they walked slowly down the twisting roads filled with broken drains and dirty homes.

"Forgive me, but this place might be a bit too low for your liking." Grinned Jay, causing Heeseung to scoff. "After asking you to kill a man, I don't think I get to decide what is low and what is not."

"Hhmmhh." Mused out Jay, his voice deep like the ocean. The saltiness in the air must have messed with Heeseung's head for he couldn't help but think that Jay's voice was gorgeous.

Hmm, yes, it was just an extremely hot day.

Nothing else.

Or maybe it was Jay who was hot.

"Shut up Heeseung." Declared Heeseung, causing Jay to turn around. "You..talk to yourself?" He asked, trying his best to stifle his laugh.

"Oh, shut up." grumbled Heeseung, causing Jay to roar with laughter. "Alright, alright. I'll keep quiet, we're gonna be at Base in a quick two mins anyway."

Right, it was time for his choice to fall into action.

Silence prevailed for the next few minutes as they reached an old broken down building at the edge of the sea.

"Is it this?" Heeseung asked, standing solemnly before its entrance. "Yes," Jay answered, opening the rickety old gate, "Please." He said, standing aside to let Heeseung pass first.

Without answering, Heeseung walked into the unkempt front garden and looked around. It was an old building indeed, with its walls designed in the century old dravidian style.

"You can appreciate this all you want after the guys meet you." Jay said and grabbed his hand, leading him into the porch.

The blonde then grinned at the other, his hand on the doorbell, his eyes shining. He looked at Heeseung and said,

"Welcome home."
