The sunlight poured into the room onto Ni-ki, who was sprawled like a squid on the bed, snoring lightly.

"Get up, Ni-ki!" A cheerful voice rang through his ears, "It's time for college! If you go late today, then your shitty professor, J-Why-Pee, would start troubling me with emails again."

Ni-ki groaned as he got up and trudged to the bathroom, forcing himself to look presentable for college. After finally managing to look like a decent person, he ran down the stairs to meet Sunoo, who was cooking as Jungwon cleaned the table.

"And you're up!" Sunoo cheered, "Good job, you're amazing!" Ni-ki grinned at the compliment and sat down at the table, devouring the plate of eggs passed to him by Jungwon.

"Stop praising him for doing the bare minimum," Jungwon scolded, "He's going to end up like a spoiled brat." Even though he scolded Ni-ki, he was still patting his head as though he was a puppy.

Ni-ki giggled, "I won't get spoiled, I'm sure. Anyway, today we have a dance group presentation at 3PM, can you guys make time to come and watch me?"

"Oh god, of course I want to come!" Sunoo gasped, "I bet you're the best dancer in the group." Ni-ki laughed proudly at that and began explaining about how he indeed was the best one.

'Weird how life keeps on changing.' Ni-ki thought after being done with the explanation.

He suddenly went from being a murderous gang member to the best dance student in BangPDsimps college, the best Arts college in Neocity.

Here he was, doing something he was completely sure of. He walked the paths with no fear, was very much happy. He was not in confusion, he was with the best people he knew.

He remembered that day again, when he left Nidra, or now called Enhypen. He can almost see how he brought Sunoo to the hospital, and then called Jungwon to come back and help them.

He could still see the day when Jungwon stood at Sunoo's feet, crying out loud that he should have never left him.

He could still remember his first day of college, where people of his age were talking to him about all trivial things. He could remember how it made him smile.

He could also still remember Jake's warm hug, Sunghoon's gentle hands as they combed his hair, Jay's protective gaze watching him as he trained with a knife, Heeseung's voice as he talked to him.

He could remember them all.

He would always remember them, no matter what.

"Let's go then. Or else all of us are going to be late." Sunoo said, putting on his police badge on his shoulder. Ni-ki nodded and grabbed his back, heading out with the other two.

As he entered his college after bidding his goodbyes to Sunoo and Jungwon,he felt his friend, Daniel, run upto him and jump on his back. "Ni-ki, are you pumped for today?!" He screamed into his ears. Ni-ki laughed, "Of course I am." Daniel got off his back and walked next to him, reading something on his phone.

"Would you look at this?" He began, "Apparently, some mafia ring called Enhypen is slowly becoming one of the most powerful gangs in the underground world."

"But seriously, Ni-ki," he continued, "Do you even believe in such nonsense? I'm sure that there're no such groups, I bet they're just some teenagers trying to act cool, what do you say?"

"Me?" Ni-ki mused, "Yeah, I'm sure they're all fake. Bet they just want imitate some old mafia movie." He agreed.

Daniel nodded brightly and went on talking about his day. Ni-ki paid partial attention to it because majority of his gaze was on the car that stood half covered in the trees.

"But you know, seems like some groups attend a dance performance after killing someone." Niki said.

"What?" Daniel asked. Ni-ki giggled, "Nothing, nothing. Let's just go."

And he looked at the car, in which were Jay, Jake, Sunghoon and Heeseung, all here to watch his first performance. He grinned slowly as he watched them, trying his best to not look at Jay, who was wiping blood of Heeseung's cheek sweetly.

And so,with a smile,  Ni-ki continued to walk ahead to his future, that still somehow held his past.

It seems like one can never really erase the times, huh?

THE END.

I sincerely thank everyone who have spared their time to read and support this book.

The book was partly based on Oikawa's (HAIKYUU) mentality and idea to do anything to win against the naturally different ones.

Against those people who are simply born with traits that one works for years to obtain. Cause it really hurts to be the one destined for failure, doesn't it?

Anyway, here is the quote that laid the foundation for the book,

"The curse of the ordinary blooms painfully in my heart,
Punishing me with a torment unique only to myself."

This was actually a nomin ff turned to Heejay and Sunki because of how much my sister loved Enhypen.

Once again, I thank all of you and repeat the phrase that stands true in all times and moments,

SM IS TRASH.

Thanking you,
