**3rd person pov.**
"Drachmas? yeah I think I have some in our room... why tho?" Autumn asked the Poseidon girl. "I know somebody who's close enough to the school to get us a ride" Marina answered and then ran inside "wait- Who is it??" Autumn ran after Marina.
Marina was sitting on the floor in their room trying to find Autumn's drachmas, Autumn ran in "Why do we even bother... Like, I don't wanna go dress-shopping with those b*tches..." She said, Marina just rolled her eyes at Autumn before giving her a look that said 'listen I'm sorry but I don't care cause i am not getting in trouble because of that'. Autumn fell down on her bed "I'm gonna ask again, what is your plan?" she asked Marina. "Well, I only know one person that would want to drive us, so I need the drachmas to send an iris message, so can you boil some water or something or just get a cup of water?" Marina muttered deep in thought while still looking around "Fine..." The Hermes girl mumbled and got up "But it didn't even answer my question..." Autumn left the room.
Some time passed, Marina had found the drachmas and was sitting on her bed waiting for Autumn to come back from the cafeteria kitchen (which was closed But someone picked the lock). When she heard a knock on the door "Who is it? Come in..?" Ryan opened the door and peeked his head in with a grin on his face Marina looked up "Oh it's you, hi" "I just wanted to say hi, and I realized that I don't have your number?" There was a moment of silence from Marina's side. "I'm sorry... was that to forward?" Ryan broke the silence with a nervous chuckle.
Marina just gave him a small smile shaking her head "no don't worry, it's just uhm, I- I lost my phone before joining the school and still haven't gotten a new one hehe..." and at that moment you could her Autumns voice "GET OUT MY WAY I HAVE BOILING WATER! I SAID I'M COMING THROUGH VLAKAS- OH STYX" she yells and almost falls with the boiling hot water at the end "AUTUMN I TOLD YOU, YOU COULD JUST GET A NORMAL GLASS OF WATER INSTEAD I COULD'VE JU-" Marina cut herself of and took the pot from the clumsy Autumn "oh a tea party" Ryan interrupted "Oh for the love of Zeus' lightning bolt" Marina mumbled under her breath.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Autumn fist bumped Ryan. "I actually better get going, Nice seeing you again" Ryan said and walked out the door but not before giving Marina a side hug. After he left, Marina quickly set everything up making sure the steam was going upwards and keeping it going with her powers, while making sure the pot was not burning the floor at the same time "you do know what iris messaging is and how to do it right Autumn?" Marina asked, still concentrated on keeping the water boiling and steaming "absolutely I do not." Autumn said with a straight face. "We are gonna contact my mom...I haven't talked with her for a year cause of everything that's happened with prophecies and... Death, you know, couldn't really bring up the courage to talk to her again" Marina was staring at the pot zoned out a little "wow..deep... Sorry bout that" Autumn said "let's just get it over with then..." Marina sighed and tossed a drachma into the steam whispering "Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering. Sally Jackson Manhattan" and in the steam showed a picture of Sally Jackson making cookies in the kitchen (Of course they are blue) and Estelle sitting in her chair giggling at Peppa pig running on the tv. Marina gasped slightly, not having seen her mom in so long "mom?..." she whispered but Sally heard it clearly, as a mother does. She turned around and almost yelled "Marina? What are you doing? How are you?" Autumn was slowly backing away, trying to give the newly reunited mother and daughter space. "I'm fine mom I- nothing happened but... I know we haven't talked for so long but, I'm on a quest and I kind of need you to help give us a ride" she said referring to herself and A. "Wait, what quest?? is it dangerous? And who is 'us'?"
"the quest wa- is to find more half-bloods, it's not dangerous and 'us' is me and my friend Autumn she- AUTUMN GET BACK HERE. She's a Hermes kid, and as I said we kinda need a ride" Marina said slightly clenching her jaw in the start at the thought of lying about the danger to her mother.
"o-okay where and when? and why?" Sally was mumbling processing her daughters words just now while nodding.
"It's at xxx at xxx, now and I can't tell you why it's classified I guess"

"dress shopping?? How great that some of your childhood gets to be normal.... I'm guessing you have to go now" Sally said while looking at both the girl "Yeah thank you so much mom I-I'm sorry for cutting communication... Bye?"
