Chapter Twenty-Two

*3rd person pov*

A scream of worry and fear filled the hall together with gasps from the students "someone call the ambulance" - "ALEX WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED". Some teachers were trying to get to the wounded 'boy' but the dense mass of students was impossible to get through

Of course the students couldn't see the wings and horns, only that his arm was deeply wounded. "EVERYBODY GET OUT!" Týr yelled as he caught Marina's gaze and gave her a look to help get everyone out and check up on Autumn. Only a few people obeyed Týrs call,

and Marina had to scream as loud as she could to alert and scare the rest, as she ran to Autumn's side checking on her. "Autumn what happened?"

"Don't worry, we need to get EVERYONE out" Autumn tried to keep her head cold.

Chaos had broken loose. Everyone was panicking. Screams were heard. Students were in a mixture of panic, fear and confusion but almost none were running out and following the yells. But Ryan for that matter was in a traumatized state, he was in the corner blanked out not knowing what he was seeing, looking like he wanted to do something or run out, but he was frozen. "We NEED to get them out!" Autumn exclaimed at Marina. Marina looked around trying frantically to come up with a plan. Týr was getting as many students out as he could. Alex was visibly pissed and amused at the same time, all the attention made it hard to get to his victims, but at the same time it was fun seeing them in the same panic.

Water flowed suddenly in the hall which made the rest of the students run out in confusion and fear, only the ones who were trained to see through the mist knew that it was Autumn who had broken one of the big speakers with water inside and Marina was controlling the water.

Now they were alone with Alex. Tension thick enough to be cut with a knife, water on the floor and some flowing in the air redirecting light, slight panting and deathly glares.

"WHAT ARE YOU?!" Autumn yelled at Alex, there was a certain confusion and slight pain of betrayal in her tone "What does it look like?" Alex said in a sarcastic and sinister tone and got up from the floor "We don't have time for this game..." Týr said in a hushed but serious voice. "I'm a monster! Well -I'm half harpy" Alex explained, he flew up and looked down at the little group.

Autumn had her throwing stars in her hands, ready to defend or attack, Týr was on high alert and Marina was controlling the water around them to a point where it almost looked like a giant snake almost encircling them. They were all highly alarmed keeping their eyes on Alex, as he was flying above them in a mocking and teasing manner, with a smirk on his face seeming to have noticed something they hadn't.

In an instant he was spiraling around them confusing them and suddenly dropped. They had lost sight of Alex until they heard a dark and deep chuckle behind them, and there was a boy with pure terror in his eyes on his knees, Alex's long sharp claws to his neck.

Breathes were held in internal fear and panic in what was happening, deafening silence over them until breathlessly one word was released into the tense air

"Ryan...."
