"After one week of relentless man hunt, the Federal Bureau of Investigation in cooperation of Los Angeles Police Department and Boston Police Department have finally arrested Kim Jongin, the former CEO of Kim Empire Law Firm in Boston." The female anchor reported, her eyes fiercely fixated at the camera.
Soon after, footage of Jongin's arrest flash through the television. He did not even try to run away from the Police officers as they put the handcuffs on him.
"He was found wandering around Neponset River Reservation, this Friday at around three in the afternoon. Kim attended Lalisa Manoban's concert last friday that was held in Stappes Center Los Angeles, California. Where he tried to murder the said popstar, but instead he accidentally shot his ex-wife Kim Jennie who saved the popstar's life. Police stated that this could be an issue of jealousy turned in to homophobic behaviour towards the singer, but Kim Jongin's confession which was recorded this Friday at exactly six in the evening gives us a more coherent reason as to why he did such crime." The reporter stated. "The Federal Bureau of Investigation granted SBC News the authorization to air, Kim Jongin's confession. Here it is."
The News TV flashed a man in handcuffs inside a four walled room, his eyes full of regrets.
"I was not even planning to kill her." The man started as he stared in space. The Policeman listening patiently to him. "I... I just do not want to be caught that is all I want to do." He said looking down.
The statement made the Policeman curious.
"What are you trying to hide?" The officer asked.
Jongin looked up, "I can't."
The officer furrowed his brows and clasped his hands he faced Jongin straight to the eye. "Tell me."
The former CEO burst in to tears, his body shaking. All because of stress, pressure, and all the things he wants to hide away from the world.
The Policeman watched as Jongin breaks down. He had seen lots of people breaking down during cofessions and this one is no diferrent.
"I am from a highly honored family in South Korea, Sir." The man said, although his words seems conceited and cocky, the tone of his voice is too close to breaking that it almost sounded like a plead to just end everything.
"I know that." The officer replied calmly.
"I am Attorney Kim Jongin." He said eyes full of regret as he put his handcuffed hands up on his head.
"What was it that you were trying to hide? Did you do the crime to cover something up?" The officer interrogated. His voice calm yet cold, sending shivers down Jongin's spine.
"I killed someone." He confessed.
The Policeman leaned back as he stared at the man confessing to his crimes.
"It all happened in Seoul." He continued.
The Officer looked at the man in complete shock, sure he had commited a crime, but what he is confessing right now, it is not the same crime that took place in Los Angeles. It happened in Seoul, South Korea.
"Seoul?" The Policeman asked.
Jongin nodded, "Yes, Sir."
There was a pause between the two men.
"I accidentally killed someone. I was young, I was reckless, I... I was just appointed as the CEO for our Law firm here in Boston. I was so happy that day that I did not notice that man-"
"Were you convicted in Seoul?" The officer asked seriously.
Kim Jongin cried silently. "No."
The officer straightened his demeanor, He knew he is about to unleash something big through this confession.
