Jennie grabbed her bag and locked her locker. Another tiring shift has ended. She bid her goodbye to her colleagues as they wish her a happy birthday. Jennie smiled and uttered a shy 'thanks' as her reply. On her way out, her boss gave her a medium sized cake as a gift and some advice to go have a vacation leave since she never took a day off,

"I'll think about it, Sir." Jennie replied. A soft smile on her lips.

"Aw, c'mon Jennie, you deserve it. Since you started working here you never took a day off, you were never late, you never complain, take it as a little compensation from all your hard work." The big man whose twice Jennie's size replied.

"I don't even know where I would spend a whole week vacation, Sir." Jennie laughed; the feline eyed woman does not want a vacation because it will give her a time to think about everything that went wrong since she took that train ride back here in Boston. Although she is very thankful to have a boss like Liam, who is very considerate about his employees, a vacation leave does not sound tempting at all for her.

"New York sounds good." The big man beamed at her. Jennie bit her lips at the thought of the City. It's been two long years, but the woman she met in the Empire State still have her heart.

The big man patted her shoulder, "Okay, I won't force it to you but always remember that you can have that vacation." Jennie smiled softly at the man and muttered a soft thanks as she passes by him.

"But the offer only stands for January, young woman. Since it is your birth month." Liam said, loud enough for Jennie to hear. The feline eyed woman turns around to give the man a thumbs up and a 'thanks boss' with a salute, which made the man chuckle.

It has been two years since Jennie lost it all, the wealth, the fame, the privilege, everything. Since the divorce which was filed by Jongin was granted, everything went downhill for her and her family. Jennie's license was revoked because Jongin's father exposed her, it was big news both in International and South Korean TV. Kim Jae Bom, the devil himself made a press conference on it, he narrated how he felt sorry for Jennie's father when the feline eyed woman failed to pass the bar exam, he tried to portray himself as a good friend for Jennie's father, which led him to manipulate the exam result, he came clean about his wrong doings of manipulating the Bar Exam result, he played the victim card and won over both International and South Korea's sympathy. Jennie was crucified, people did not even dare to hear her out, they treated her like garbage, that is why she is so grateful towards Liam, her boss. He never judged her, he gave her a chance, that is why she always does her job better than it is expected to be. On the other hand, Her Congressman father received the same backlash she experienced, and could not do anything but resign from his position and go hide away and live in the outskirts of Seoul because of how humiliating it was for them, even humiliating is an understatement if Jennie is being honest. Good thing though, her American citizenship remained and she was able to find a job as a cashier at Stop and Shop, Jisoo on the other hand, was not affected by the controversy and was still able to become a surgeon in Boston. Now her sister is the one supporting her family financially, in South Korea and the one who is supporting her, emotionally and financially. They are both living in Jisoo's apartment, which the older Spyth Korean woman purchased when she decided to live in the states, and Jennie cannot be more thankful for her sister. She does not know what she will do without Jisoo.
