Location: School

I was now walking to the cafeteria, with my bag and books in my arm.

I had a bar and chips in my bag. Then I usually get food from the cafeteria.

I walked in and got in line. I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry," we both said at the same time.

Cherry.

"Oh hey cherry," I said smiling.

"Hey, Millie"

"You can go first," I said

"No it's okay, you can go"

So I did.

"How've you been?" She asked.

"Good, you," I ask.

"good" she simply said.

We smiled at each other and left.

  I sat down by myself since ponyboy didn't come today. I took out my chips and fries I got from the school.

I was peacefully eating when I felt someone sit next to me.

"Hey, this seat taken," she asked.

"Uh, no," I said scooting over a little.

It was silent for a while until cherry spoke up.

"Uh, can my friends sit here," she asked.

Why? I wanted to ask.

"Sure," I said.

Marcia and Ava (the new character) sat down in front of me.

I know Marcia and cherry, there very nice, I don't know much about ava.

"Hi I'm ava," she said in a cheerful tone

"Millie," I said.

"What are you eating?" She asked.

I looked at my food, then at her.

"Fries and some chips" I answered.

"Potato chips aren't healthy and so are fries," she said crossing her arms on the table.

"So?"

"Soooo, there gonna make you gain weight"

"Just like Sarah Wilson," she said laughing and pointing at the girl.

Sarah Wilson is a plus-size woman, people at school make fun of her, most of them don't even know her. I've talked to her a couple of times, and she was one of the most nicest and funniest people I've ever met.

"Sweet and funny, not so bad," I said plopping a chip in my mouth.

"I mean fat" she spat.

Before I can speak, cherry did.

"Don't be mean ava"

She rolled her eyes.

"I'm just being honest"

"You're not being honest, your being mean," I said.

"Look, she's never gonna find a good man looking like that "

"She doesnt need one, and a good man, would not care about looks"

"She can't find one like Dallas"

I perked up at the name.

"What do you mean"

"I mean he's very handsome, besides that DX boy," she said picking at her nails.

"And you know what, I'm gonna get him," she said with confidence.

Ugh

"All yours," I said as the bell rang.

I got up, got my stuff, and left to class.

Ava is not in the book or movie but I wanted to add her to the story.
