Cool

Once it was visiting time my parents came right in.

"Oh honey, I'm so glad you're okay!" My mom exclaimed hugging me.

"Yeah me too" I muttered.

"What the hell were you thinking!" My dad said anger in his voice.

I knew they were gonna be mad.

"I just tried to save my friends okay," I said quietly.

"By almost getting yourself killed!"

"Honey, calmed down" my mom tried by putting her hand on his shoulder.

"No!"

"And what were you doing running away with a murderer!"

"Johhnys, not a murderer, he did it for self-defense, those socs were gonna kill his friend!" Now I'm started to get mad.

He quiets up a bit.

"I was there okay, they were gonna drown his friend, and if he didn't do anything, he would've been dead, and he saved me too"

He took a deep breath.

My mom's face turned to concern and confusion.

"They pinned me down, but they didn't do anything, they all ran away" I muttered very quietly.

"Okay, but your grounded for 1 month," my dad said.

I smiled.

"Now I got to go to work, so behave and don't do anything stupid," he said pointing his finger at me.

My mom and dad left and left me all alone again.

*knock, knock* I heard at my door.

"Come in!"

I heard the door creak open, then a nervous ponyboy came in.

"Hey pony" I smiled at him.

"Hey Millie," he said returning a small smile.

"How are you feeling?" He asked sitting next to me.

"My leg hurts really bad when I move it, but the doctor said I'll get a treatment and I'll be able to leave in a couple of days" I explained to him.

He just nodded.

"How are Johhny and dally," I asked.

"Johhnys okay, he has some burns but he'll be out tomorrow with some treatment, dallys okay too, he has a few more burns than Johhny, since he got you out of the fire, but he's gonna be alright to" he explained.

I smiled knowing that my friends are gonna be okay.

"You?" I asked.

"Got a few burns on my arms and neck," he said showing me.

I chuckled.

"Cool"

He just smiled.

He stayed a while, he got me a book and talked about the gang and how their gonna visit soon.
