Hello everyone! Here is another chapter. We hope you enjoy it!
Fighting with his enhanced vision was both better and worse. For one, it was very overwhelming, the slightest movement could distract him from a fight. The headaches were still there of course, yet his sensitivity was always getting more manageable.
There were the obvious things that would be gained from better vision, being able to see farther and just more, but Izuku found he was able to focus on small things as well. He thinks that his vision causing him to notice these small movements had allowed for him to analyze them and adopt them into the way he fought.
He began to study his opponents more instead of just rushing into a situation only to stop them. He started to fight smarter even though it didn't really matter to him because he couldn't die. Izuku would never admit it to himself, but his increasing amount of skill caused a small sense of pride.
The colors he saw increased in contrast as well which made objects easier to distinguish in the night.
Izuku started to get better at being aware of Eraserhead's presence as well.
For the most part, glimpses of the hero occurred when Izuku had a feeling he was being watched, Izuku immediately going to look for the cause of this. He never brushed off the feeling, even if he was just being paranoid. He needed to be aware of everything around him at all times.
More rarely Izuku would happen to glance up and lock eyes with the pro. Izuku would watch with a guarded expression long past the time Eraserhead looked away and had left.
Izuku felt like he had a pretty good grasp on the Eraserhead front of things. The pro was observing him while waiting for an opportunity to capture him. What he didn't understand was the Locomotion Gang.
They were doing what they said they would do, leaving him alone.
Why?
Izuku could not get their motivation and it scared him. So much so that he was doing something incredibly rash.
However, sometimes to see where you stand you have to poke the bear.
Which put Izuku walking into the gang's known territory in broad daylight.
As he said, incredibly rash.
A few days of research at the library had Izuku back into the streets, actively studying the gang. He had learned everything he could without seeing them in action.
Izuku soon grew frustrated when he didn't see the gang doing anything inherently villainous. They were a gang that certainly wanted to hurt him, so why were they acting so... nice?
Whatever they were doing had to be well hidden.
As a result, Izuku decided to see what would happen if he just showed up in their territory.
He had been going to wait until nightfall to give himself less of a disadvantage, however, Izuku had grown too restless and was now cautiously walking into their territory.
He had seen numerous known gang members, but no one had made a move on him. Izuku knew that they had seen him because some of them had locked eyes with him and, if they were in pairs, had turned to whisper to one another.
Izuku's body became even more tense as he shouldered the unabashed attention.
Either the gang had been waiting for him, or more likely someone had gone to inform Big Mama that Izuku was in their territory because the man himself was soon slowly walking down the street to greet him.
