Hello!  We promise that these chapters do get longer, the beginning just spans over a lot of time, and it was hard not to break up.  Thank you all and we hope you enjoy!

Mitsuki was worried.

Inko always brought Izuku over for his birthday. She missed her usual time and she hadn't received a call saying her plans had changed.

She had even cooked all of Izuku's favorites, she could tell the poor boy could use the calories.

She got to their house and she could hear sobbing.

"INKO!" Mitsuki yelled, banging on the door and ringing the doorbell, "INKO!"

She rang the doorbell twice more and then decided that something was wrong and she was going to break this door down.

It took two swift kicks to knock the door down, they made it seem so much harder in the movies.

Mitsuki stared in shock at what the open broken door revealed.

Izuku laid in a puddle of his own blood, his arms and legs were at weird angles and you couldn't see his freckles anymore.

Inko looked unharmed but she was curled up in the corner of the kitchen, crying.

This shocked Mitsuki into action.

Horrified, Mitsuki pulled out her phone and called 110.

"Hello, this is emergency services." the voice on the phone spoke.

"Izu- I mean my best friend's son is hurt, it's bad I think. We need an ambulance. I also think we need the police, it doesn't look like an accident.

"What is the address?" Mitsuki told the person and moved forward to check on Izuku.

There were no clear wounds that she could do anything about. She thought she would be able to do something, but she guessed all of his wounds were internal.

She cursed and spoke to the person, "Look, I am going to hang up now. I have things to do here." She didn't even wait for the person's reply before hanging up.

She crept over to Inko.

"Hey, Inko?" Inko looked at her crying, "I am here now, everything is going to be ok." Inko froze,

"It's all my fault." She whispered, and Mitsuki looked at her strangely.

"What do you mean?" Mitsuki asked, "Who hurt Izuku? Who did this?" Inko curled into herself.

"Hisashi..." Inko whispered and Mitsuki sethed in rage.

"Ok, come here you poor thing." Mitsuki held her arms open and hugged her best friend.

She dialed another number on her phone.

"Honey?" Masaru inquired.

"Hey. You are going to need to get an overnight bag for at least me ready. If you or Katsuki want to come bring bags for you as well. Izuku is going to the hospital. I will explain more later." Mitsuki said, "Don't come to the house, I will text you the room number or where to meet me." She added, deciding it wouldn't be a good thing for anyone else close to Izuku to see him like this. She was already traumatized by his state.

"Ok love, I will be there soon with at least your bag, I will see what Katsuki wants to do." Her husband responded.

"Love you." She said fondly, hanging up. Her husband was amazing. He just took what she said without asking questions and thought of her son first before himself.
