Hey y'all!  I'm being a little slow reading comments at the moment, sorry about that.  I am not feeling well physically or mentally but it all good!  Enjoy the happy times while they last :)

Thank you all for reading and your comments really brighten our days!

Izuku winced as he stepped on his injured leg.

After his bold declaration, Izuku had been researching fighting techniques in the local library.

Sure he had to travel quite a ways to get to one, but it was worth it. He told the librarians that he was required to spend his mornings learning at the library as a part of his home school program.

Izuku also started reading textbooks. He told himself that it was just because he didn't want what he told the librarians to be a total lie.

This knowledge has helped him as he had gotten in the middle of three crimes since then.

However, in the last one, he landed wrong on his leg in an escape from the mugger.

He didn't take any money from the third or the first, but the second he did.

A large person in a fancy suit was trying to take a woman into the trunk of his car.

Izuku picked up a rock, feeling a sense of deja vu, and threw it at the person in the suit as he was too far away to get there in time.

The rock missed its target and hit the person on the head rather than on the back as intended.

There was a sicking smack as the rock hit and the person slumped to the ground, blood running onto the concrete.

"Oops." Izuku winced, panicking. The woman looked at him and then at the person in the suit.

"Uh... I guess... call 911?" Izuku suggested. The woman nodded and ran off, leaving Izuku with the hopefully just unconscious person.

Thankfully the person was still alive, so feeling responsible, Izuku decided to wait around until the cops or ambulance showed up, then make his escape.

This left him with down time however, so Izuku was bored and anxious, which are never a good combination. He decided that it wouldn't hurt to go through the person's car, being careful not to touch anything directly, of course.

Inside he found a binder with the profiles of young people that were obviously on the streets, all with pages of surveillance photos. Izuku felt sick as there also were the pictures of the mutilated bodies. The woman that had run off had been the eighth person in the binder.

Izuku suddenly did not feel as bad for the person in the suit at his feet. Inside the car he also found four hundred dollars and Izuku didn't have to think twice.

He grabbed the money and he left the person bleeding on the street. The cops would be there eventually.

Despite arguing with himself against it, he was now on his way back to Junk I Found On A Beach. He knew it wasn't a good idea, he shouldn't be allowed to even have the opportunity to make connections with people, but the man had invited him.

Izuku paused in front of the storefront door, before entering into the shop.

The old man was reading a paper, just like he was the last time he was there, but this time, the man immediately looked up and smiled when he saw Izuku.

"Well howdy there, Green bean!" The old man greeted cheerfully, "I am surprised you came back so soon!" Izuku stopped in his track.

It had been a week and a half, surly that's not too soon, right?
