Izuku left that day limping with a healthy portion of both bruises and fancy fish.
Jumping Bean had gotten a good amount of hits on him today, he definitely was out of practice.
Izuku still didn't know what to think about the gang.
On one hand they were very welcoming and kind on the outside, like Mori, and on the other, they were a gang and he didn't know what they wanted.
Izuku was worried that he was getting attached. Why else would he have bothered going back? He knew that he was only going to lose everything again if things continued as they were.
He deserved it anyways, so who cared how it ended?
With this in mind he decided to go back the next day. He still wasn't going out and watching the streets yet, terrified that Eraserhead was going to catch him again.
However, he couldn't just leave people to suffer just because of him, so he would be going back out tonight.
Today's training session went much like the one yesterday. Izuku got a fresh smattering of bruises to accent those that were already there. He must have looked frustrated because Jumping Bean assured him he would be improving again soon, he just had to be patient.
He again was left to limp out of the training area but this time a voice called after him to stop him in his tracks.
"Hey Baby Squirt!" Big Mama said loudly, "Can I talk to you for a sec before you go off to do whatever it is when you leave?"
Izuku simply stopped in answer, waiting for Big Mama to catch up with him.
"I have a favor to ask of you." Izuku narrowed his eyes at the man. "It's about Lil' Papa..." Big Mama trailed off again, "He hasn't been by in a few days, and while normally this wouldn't be a cause for alarm, there were rumors going around of this messed up drug. He had been staying out later and I had another member follow him, and he was seen going to a warehouse where the drug was known for." Big Mama sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"I really didn't want to tell you about this, but I can't get involved. This drug is serious. I thought that it was just a myth, but now I don't think so. It's called Trigger, and some really big names are involved in it. It is supposed to be highly addictive and it also forcefully activates your quirk. Your really skilled kid, which is the only reason that I gave in and told you, but I still am only asking only for information. Don't get involved with these people more than you have to. I refuse to lose you kid," Big Mama sounded lost and Izuku stood listening.
When Big Mama stopped talking just to stare at him for an uncomfortable amount of time, Izuku finally realized he was expected to give some sort of response.
Izuku hadn't had much interaction with Lil' Papa since the first day he encountered the gang. Occasionally Lil' Papa was around while Izuku was there, but the man never seemed to stay long and when he left, Big Mama would always act strangely for the rest of that day. He had been showing up less and less as time went on and Izuku figured that in the weeks he was gone, he stopped all together.
Although Izuku knew that this was dangerous and held no affection for Lil' Papa whatsoever, he nodded in agreement.
He figured that doing anything to keep a claimed dangerous drug off the streets was worth it and he couldn't risk getting on Big Mama's bad side. Izuku didn't want him to finally snap.
