Jimin's POV
Walking in the corridors, I kept wondering how Taehyung was doing. The previous day, he seemed to have a nightmare. I hoped that I actually managed to lend him a hand.
When I woke up, he was already gone, so I didn't have a chance to speak to him. I yawned. By the way, Where am I? and where is Hoseo-
My eyes widened when they saw a young lady slap Jungkook on his face and ran away. I gasped but then quickly covered my mouth to not grab his attention towards me. I need to get the hell out of here.
I gulped and made eye contact with some of the guards who seemed to be shocked just like me.
"Why are you here?" Jungkook's voice spoke up which made me fixed in my place.
"Lost. I am lost." I forced a smile and acted as if I saw nothing.
"That's the servants' area. You shouldn't be here." He softly said then added, "If you were looking for the prince, I know where to find him."
"Ah. Okay." I answered then followed him in silence.
What's wrong with him? He is way too polite, and who was that girl?
"You saw what happened earlier, didn't you?" Jungkook asked taking me by surprise.
I nodded.
"Don't tell the prince. Please." He shifted his eyes at me, showing me a vulnerable Jungkook that I never thought I would ever see.
I smirked. "A few days ago, you wished for my heart to stop forever, and now you are asking me a favor."
He stopped in his place, and the look in his eyes changed into an angry one with his hand placed on his sword.
"How scary!" I rolled my eyes and gave out a laugh.
"Are you enjoying this?" Jungkook grumbled.
"Yeah! Seeing you struggle like this satisfies me. You don't know what you made me feel that day. So yeah, I am enjoying it." I laughed at his annoyed expressions.
"You are pathetic." He mumbled and walked away.
"I don't want to hear this from someone who was just slapped by a woman." I paused my laughter and trailed him as he gave me a death glare.
When we reached our destination, we didn't find Taehyung. I raised an eyebrow, "I thought you knew where he is."
Jungkook put his hand on his waist, "That's weird. I thought he would be with Yoongi. Where could he be then?"
I shrugged my shoulder, "Don't ask me?"
"I am not asking you." He gave me a cold shoulder then walked for a new destination, followed by me.
We couldn't find him in his favorite place as well which made Jungkook look at me, "Did he have a nightmare yesterday?"
"Huh? Yeah."
"That idiot," Jungkook whispered and clenched his fists. That insult isn't directed at me, is it?
Wait for a second is it directed at Taehyung? I thought he highly respected him. I don't understand that man.
On reaching our third destination, I couldn't help but feel pain watching the prince on his knees in front of his mother's grave. I never had the luxury to feel my mother's love and kindness because she was busy teaching me how to be a woman. However, it was still painful to lose her.
