Taehyung's POV

After the funeral ended, and everyone had left, I sat on my knees in front Yoong's grave. To be honest, the bodies of Yoongi and his fallen men were still in the village they had protected.

The moment I knew that fact, I had decided to visit that village. My friend was lying there alone. I clenched my hand into fist, trying to hold my tears.

Min Yoongi!

"Your highness!" a voice called me which belonged to one of Yoongi's men.

I looked at his hand to find the royal sword that I had given to Yoongi. He extended his hand and gave it to me, saying, "We thought we should return this."

I held it and remembered his tears when I first handed it to him. Caressing it, I said, "Where is the other sword?"

"We buried it with him," the man's voice cracked.

I lifted my eyes and said with blaming eyes, "You should've done the same to this sword."

"I-" he paused and nodded, "You're right. He truly loved it. I shall return it."

"No, I'll do it myself," I shifted my gaze to the sword, adding, "I was planning to visit him anyway. You just gave me a reason."

Saying no more, the man left as I looked the other side at Kookie and said, "Prepare for the trip."

"Yes, my prince," Kookie replied and walked away followed by my eyes which met Jimin's.

She was still there holding V's hand. When our eyes met, she gave me a soft smiled and approached. Placing her hand on my shoulder, she said, "I am going with you."

I looked away and nodded, whispering, "Sorry, I am giving you a hard time."

"Not at all, Jimin-ah loves you a lot," V chirped and caressed my cheeks which made me realize how I was actually crying.

I hugged him, saying, "And I love you a lot, V."

As I finished my sentence, I noticed my father looking at us from a distance with a soft smile plastered on his face. At that moment, I didn't understand him, but when Jimin and I were summoned to his room after a few hours, everything made sense to me.

Jin hyung once told me that father keeps staring at me and smiles, and he noticed. It was always when V was around me and Jimin.

"Sit both of you," Father gestured for me and Jimin to sit to which we responded by a glance to one another and sitting.

"I should first offer my condolences to you, Taehyung," my father said with no sense of guilt, making me fake a smile and nod, adding, "Appreciated now skip to the real reason you asked for us."

Jimin poked my thigh, making father smile at the gesture, saying, "Well, I'll skip the part where I blame you for not telling me about your brother's son and innocently ask you."

He paused and extended his hand as if I was supposed to hand him something, continuing with a smile, "A grandson, a one like V, please."

My eyes widened as the whole situation I was in flashed in front of me. A man offered himself to me because his family lacked a female, and I had to accept to prevent bloodshed. However, one thing never crossed my mind, what I would do if he ever asked for a grandchild.

"What's with that reaction, young man," Father spoke in a devilish voice and glanced at Jimin, who lowered his head, adding sassily, "Were you lying about him being good?"

I gritted my teeth as Jimin shook his head, whispering, "It's me. I am t-"

"Father, that's beyond rude. She isn't comfortable enough with you to speak about this!" I spoke cutting Jimin's words because out of all people I knew his words would make things worse.
