Taehyung's POV

I ran my fingers through V's hair. He was sleeping beside me as Hyung and I spent the time talking and catching up.

"Ah, how long are you staying here, hyung?" I asked, hoping for an answer that would satisfy me.

"I won't leave your side anymore, Taehyung," he said with a soft smile which made my eyes widen in surprise.

I let go of V and sat straight, "Hyung, is that really true?"

"Yeah," he giggled as I felt my lips curve into a smile.

"But what about dad?" I questioned, feeling concerned. I had always wished for this family to reunite, but if it meant that hyung would suffer father's wrath, I would rather not.

"He was the one who offered, Tae," he stated and explained in detail afterward, expecting my reaction.

Jin's Pov

[Jin threading what had happened between him and his father to Taehyung]

I was hesitant to enter father's room. It had been 13 years since we had last spoken together, and our last conversation wasn't a pleasant one. We had an argument back then and afterwards I left the palace with my wife.

Didn't know what to expect, I had no choice but to open the door which was the last obstacle between me seeing my father. Feared controlled me as I stepped forward and closed the door behind me.

"Jin," He uttered my name softly, making me lift my head to meet his eyes.

They weren't full of anger as I had expected nor reproach. They were just of a father who had missed his eldest son. His look made tears escape from eyes. I had never thought the day would come when I would be in front of him again.

I approached him step by step observing his reaction and finally let myself be engulfed in his arms.

"It took you long enough to finally pay this old man a visit, son!" father said while holding me in his embrace.

I wished time would stop or I would turn back time after my wife's death. I should've packed my stuff and returned to the palace, but I couldn't I was angry at my father. He was the one who took mum from us. He was the one who made me leave everything behind.

If he had ever been understanding.

I was wrong, though. I thought I was punishing my father for his wrong doings, but I was actually punishing myself because look at me now. Forgiving him for everything he had done just because he allowed me in his arms once again.

After we broke the hug, father placed his hand on my shoulder, "You are staying here. There are no arguments about it. I had already ordered the maids to prepare your room."

My lips parted, but unable to find right words to show gratitude, I nodded and added, "My son will stay with me."

"What! You have a son!" The man seemed shocked by the news.

"Haven't Tae mentioned it," I found it hard to believe his shock.
