Tae's POV
I wasn't prepared to face her father at all especially because I knew what he would speak about. However, I had no option. I couldn't just no, could I? Three of us entered my room. I ordered kookie to close the door, and he did. Suddenly, his highness bowed in front of me.
"I am terribly sorry my prince for offering a son, not a daughter. I really don't mean to be rude, but I have no daughters and this-"
"Sh- He had already told me the problem, so no need to repeat," I said with a stern voice as I glanced at Jimin whose face was lowered.
The king straightened his suture slowly as he lifted his eyes, saying "I-I'm really grateful for your kindness, and if he does anything that bothers you, tell me without hesitation."
He shifted his eyes towards Jimin with a frown as he continued, "He isn't a girl, so he lacks some common sense."
I didn't know how to answer. Should I tell him that Jimin was doing a great job in acting like a girl or he was bad? I was in a dilemma because for me both were despicable. After a long debate lasted for a whole minute, I decided to go with the least harmful answer.
"I agree with you," I flipped my hair, adding, "He lacks that, but it is only a matter of time. Don't worry!"
Suddenly, the king balled his hands and said in an angry-low voice, "What did he do to say this, my prince." I flinched as I saw a fire in the king's eyes and Jimin's body trembling.
Don't tell me that I chose the wrong answer.
I quickly rubbed my hair and said, trying to wrap up the problem that I caused, "N-nothing that serious. He just rode a horse alone, and when descending, he jumped"
The king's eyes widened, and they seemed to pop out of his eyes as he growled, "What a horse!" On spot, he marched to Jimin and slapped him, making me gasp.
"Didn't I tell you many times? No horses," he shouted and continued slapping him. Jimin was standing in his place without resisting.
I couldn't believe my eyes. He was being slapped in front of me. I didn't know what happened to me to be angry- to be boiling out of anger. Who was I seeing? A young man being forced to act like a young lady for his father but got slapped by him, or my wife getting slapped by her father because of me.
Preventing myself from witnessing such a scene, I closed my eyes with my lips pressed in frustration. He was his father, and I had no right to even interfere. Jimin's groan lasted for 2 minutes, and as soon as, his voice faded away, I opened my eyes to see his father glaring at him, and Jimin was sniffing as he squeezed his clothes.
A few seconds later, King Park turned to face me with a worried look and said, "Don't worry at all, my prince. He won't do that again."
He paused, and before I could do anything, he pulled Jimin's hair and roared, "Apologize to him. Apologize"
I gritted my teeth as Jimin closed his eyes enduring the pain and said, "S-Sorry. I'll never do that again."
The king didn't seem to be satisfied as he put much pressure, shouting, "Apologize more until he forgives you"
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry," Jimin repeated many times while nodding at his father.
"I forgive him. Leave him!" I almost stuttered as I uttered the words. The king raised his eyes and said, "I will do that only for you my prince." He paused and hit Jimin for the last time and grumbled. "Try to act like a girl properly"
"Y-Yes, father!" Jimin stammered. King Park bowed to me and excused himself. I bit my lower lip and looked at Jimin who was wiping his few tears.
I hate tears.
