Uncanny Valley was flying through the city, looking through the city for any sign of Jessica. It was already late and Jessica was still nowhere to be found. "Come on, where could you be?" wondered Uncanny Valley as she flew through the skies, looking down below at the busy traffic in the city.
After a long while of scouting, Aeon deduced that Jessica must have gone to the city outskirts. She ran a couple of possibilities through until she then realized something. "Of course, how could I have not realized it," Aeon thought to herself smiling as she flew towards the outskirt of the city, where the memorial site that Jessica would visit from time to time was. But, unknown to the android, she was being followed. The man eyed him from the ground, an old man with long grey hair stared at the android that was flying through the air.
As Aeon flew towards the memorial site, she scouted the area. Other than seeing a familiar face there, David, with someone that presumably looks like his grandfather. Aeon did not see any signs of Jessica anywhere. The android was now even more perplexed, she wasn't even sure where else to look as her eyes scanned the area, as she flew, before she noticed a figure sitting on top of a building not too far from the memorial It was Eagle. Uncanny Valley couldn't felt more relief as she saw her friend, who was sitting on top of the building, looking at the memorial site from afar, seemingly so deep into her thoughts that she didn't notice that Aeon landed behind her.
"Eagle," Uncanny Valley said, attracting the Native American's attention.
Jessica turns around surprised to see her android friend. "Aeon?"
"Remember, we are transformed now," Uncanny Valley reminded as she looked around carefully.
"U.V." Eagle greeted as she stood up, looking at the android.
"It's Uncanny Valley," Aeon corrected.
"Nah, U.V. sounds a lot catchier," Jessica chuckled dryly. "So, my mom and the monster sent you to find me?" asked Jessica plainly as she turned away, looking at the memorial site once more.
"My mother is not a monster," Aeon persisted strongly before realizing that she shouldn't be angering her friend now. She was tasked with bringing her back home, and she will. "Are you feeling better now?" asked Aeon concerned.
"I'm... not sure to be honest," Jessica sighed as her eyes were fixed on the memorial site.
"What is this place?" asked Aeon curiously.
"You don't know?" asked Jessica surprised.
"You clearly know that for me to have an experience that a normal human would, my mother didn't input all the information into me, giving me a chance to explore and learn things," Uncanny Valley said.
"Ah, I keep on forgetting that," Eagle said. "What do you know of this place?"
"Some type of memorial site? I looked at the map," Aeon said.
"This is the memorial site for the people that died during the battle, between Majestia and Ignoblia, years ago," Jessica explained, with pain in her voice.
"So... my mother... really did it?"
"What?"
"Did she... kill?" asked the android nervously.
