Hello everyone!

Wow! Two chapters in one week? Damn! Well, to be honest here, I had chapter 14 edited for a while now but it got held back because 1) chapter 13 wasn't posted yet because we were too busy to and 2) we were discussing other plot points in the fic too. ANYWAY, enjoy this chapter full of some comedy, a heart-wrenching secret reveal, and more!

When the crew had gotten to the Guardian's hideout, or..whatever it was, Jessica and Emily, along with Aeon who had tagged along, were surprised to see it was more of a training facility than a house. Well..only partly surprised.

"Woah, this place.... you live here?" asked Emily curiously as she looked around. It didn't look like a place someone would live in.

The Guardian nodded. "Yes. Now come along, we have much to discuss..and do."

"Hmm, sounds about nice," Emily said, smiling, as she walked forward. "What are we doing?"

The Guardian placed his hands behind his back. "First, Jessica, we must work on controlling Liberation to its fullest."

"Wait what?" Jessica stuttered. "I thought Emily is the one that needs training?" she asked surprised.

"Well, yes. But Liberation is a very powerful power, Jessica. That is why you are struggling to grasp onto it. As for Emily, well, she seems to have a good use of hers since it is basic. But she still needs improvements on its usages during the two minutes she uses it." The Guardian explained.

"But... I.." Jessica then remembered all the struggles, the pain she experienced whenever she has tried to use her powers. "Fine," the Native American shrugged.

"One of the embodiments you need to have complete control over your power is your patience. You must learn how to be levelheaded when using your power, and remain focused. You have to fight with a clear head...or else someone can easily use that to their advantage." The Guardian said, sitting down on the mat.

"Emotions can grant strength..but it is at a large cost. You, Jessica, need to turn those emotions into willpower. You must reach your inner strength to remain level-headed during a battle."

"So... What do I do?" asked Jessica."Not that it is even easy to stay calm during a fight," Jessica said remembering the past few fights she was in.

"One of the most incredible things about mistakes, is that they show you what you need to grow as a person. As a fighter." The Guardian smiled. "The only way you would be able to dig deep into Liberation, is if you grow the strength to clear your mind at moment's notice."

"I see... that is not very... whatever... so how am I even going to practice?" asked the girl curiously as she looked around the room.

"Focus on what I am doing. Close your eyes, and think of the pain, the misery you had to endure." The Guardian instructed.

"So... Meditation?" asked Jessica curiously as she watched the guardian kneel down on the ground, following his actions, placing her hands on her lap. "Yes," the guardian nodded.

"Now, as I was saying before, close your eyes..and try to..reflect on all of those times you have struggled." The Guardian said, in a calming and also firm voice.
