The time I get off the bus I go straight to my room to make sure everything was in my bag. I almost forgot my toothbrush. I lay out some clothes for me and take a shower.
I put on my clothes, and remember I have to do my hair. Again.
I get everything I need and decide to swoop it to the side. It was a hassle and took forever because I eventually heard my mom scream"Zoe I'm home!"
I put the Z pin back in my hair. I grabbed my bag, and went down stairs.
" Hi mom. How was work?" I ask. " It was tiring. How was school" mom asked.
"It was boring. Time couldn't possibly get any slower!" I reply.
"Ha. I remember those days. School was the absolute worse on those days." mom states as I grab a snack.
" So when are we leaving?" I ask. "Let me go change out of these clothes, and I'll take you over there." Mom answers.
She walks off to go change as I finish my snack.
"Ready to go?" mom ask. " More ready than you'll ever know." I state.
So we got in the car, and we drove. I listened to music while mom listened to the radio.
I must have been lost in the music because I didn't even notice we arrived at Quins till my tapped me on the shoulder.
I grabbed my bag and ran up to the front door. Mom following behind me.
I rang the doorbell, and the door quickly opened. "Hi Zoe!Hi Mrs. Christian!" Quin cheers. "Hello Quin." Mom replies. "Zoe you be good now. And have fun. " mom states.
" I will." I reply. " Love you." mom says. I don't know why, but those words hit different at the moment. " Love you too." I reply. Then mom went into her car,and left. And I was with Quin. Ready to start the sleepover.
