After Quin left I started to wash the dishes and cleanup the kitchen. " That was fun." mom states. "It really was." I replied. " Quin is such a welled mannered young lady." mom said.
"She has more manners then most girls our age if that's what your suggesting." I answered. Mom laughs and pours herself a glass of water. "Yes, you were lucky to find such a good influencer. I'm so happy your finally making friends. For a second I thought me and your sister were going to be your only friends " Mom stated. I can't think of an answer, but what do you say when you're too scared to let people in because your too afraid to loose them.We sit in silence for a while. It was so quiet that I could hear the neighbors TV. I think of a way to avoid her statement by bringing up the sleepover.
" So mom can I make something to bring over to the sleepover." I asked. "I thought you would ask so I made some extra brookies for you girls." mom answered. " Thank you so much mom!" I replied excitedly. I quickly ran and hugged her. Forgetting that my hands were covered in soapy suds. We looked at each other and laughed. "Oops." I chuckled. After the kitchen was sparkling and smelled like pine sole, mom sent me off to bed. I was so excited for tomorrow. I could barely sleep. Eventually my eyes closed and I drifted off to sleep. Waiting for what adventures would await me the next day.
