Aizawa got an emergency phone call before I could even react to what he said. Meaning, I was left alone with my thoughts. Part of me thought I was hallucinating from blood loss or that the doctor had given me too much pain reliever. The other part of me new that wasn't true. I wanted it to be true, but at the same time I was scared of what it meant. First of all, he was my favorite pro hero. But now, he's my dad? Did he just leave my mom? What was their relationship? Another reason I didn't want it to be true is because how will it reflect on him? Will everyone suddenly hate him for having a child that he never knew about? And of course his child had to be messed up and suicidal. Was the public going to be upset that his image is now tarnished by a mutant freak like me? Will they hate both of us?

On the other hand, him being both my favorite pro hero and my father is a dream come true. Having any father besides Hisashi is amazing, but I could only have dreamed that it would work out like this.

I slept most of the day until Kacchan and Kami visited. They were glad I was ok and they were very shocked that Aizawa was my father.

"Aizawa's your father?!" asked Kacchan.

"Apparently." I replied.

"And you're sure you didn't just dream it?" Asked Kami.

I glared at him.

"What? I'm just making sure."

"Yes I'm sure it wasn't a dream." I said sharply.

"What did you do when he told you?" Wondered Kacchan.

"I didn't do anything. He got an emergency call before I could react or say anything."

"That jerk! He just walks in here, says he 'thinks' he's your father, and then just leaves?!" Kacchan stated angrily.

"He's not a jerk, someone was probably dying or something! That's not his fault." I said defensively.

"Yeah, but still. Couldn't someone else have handled it?" said Kami.

"I don't know, how would I know?"

Silence.

"Well I'm glad your father isn't a douchebag." said Kacchan, which earned a smile from me.

"Yeah. I'm glad he's not a douchebag too." I replied.

The two had to leave due to visiting hours. Aizawa didn't come back until the next morning. We checked out of the hospital and went to his home.

He opened the door and we walked inside. It wasn't anything big or special. There were two small bedrooms and one master bedroom. I looked around at the living room and felt something brush against my leg. I jumped away from it instinctively and looked down at what had touched me.

"You have a cat?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah. That's Mocha." Aizawa replied. "You can pet him if you want, he's friendly."

I reached down and let him sniff my hand before gently stroking him behind the ears. She purred softly. Mocha was a white cat with calico patches. She must have been young because her fur was really silky.

It was a bit strange being in a normal household. For instance, I hadn't had a cat since I was 4. (You can guess what happened to it...Hisashi) I don't even remember the cat's name. Another thing I haven't had since I was 4 was three square meals a day. Or a set bedtime. The bedtime thing was going to be hard to get used to. I had to be asleep by midnight if it isn't a school night.

Aizawa gave me a minute to get settled in my new room, but I didn't have anything to unpack so I just sat on the bed and looked around. The room was painted white and was pretty bare. It had a dresser, a small closet, and a bathroom. It wasn't my dream room or anything, but it was a hell of a lot better that my old room. Just the fact that it was miles away from Hisashi made it 1000% better than my old room.

I looked down at my phone. The cracked screen said it was noon. Aizawa walked up to the open door and knocked on the frame. He knocked so he wouldn't surprise me, but I jumped anyway.

"Lunch is downstairs when you're ready. You don't have to eat but you should."

"Ok, thanks." I replied. Why did he make lunch for me? Is that a normal thing or is he just being nice? Hisashi never made lunch for me...

I walked downstairs and sat down at the table. Aizawa set a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and apple slices in front of me. He walked back to the kitchen and returned with two small pill bottles and a glass of water.

"Take one of each after you finish eating." He said.

"What are they for?" I asked curiously.

"It's just pain medication." He replied.

I decided I would look them up later.

I couldn't eat much of my lunch. Aizawa ate all of his. I, on the other hand, ate a few bites of the sandwich (less than half), and two apple slices. Aizawa must have noticed that I was getting full because he said, "You don't have to eat it all, don't make yourself sick." I nodded and reached for the pill bottles. I read the warning labels on them. Dizziness, nausea, death... I decided to not read the rest of it; too depressing.

"The doctor said to make sure you drink plenty of water while you're taking those." Said Aizawa after I swallowed them both. They tasted so bad I almost gagged.

"disgusting..." I whispered.

"I hate taking medication too. I'm really bad at swallowing them." I didn't mean for him to hear me say that.

Aizawa took my unfinished plate of food and threw it in the trash. I felt bad wasting all that food. If I had wasted food like that with Hisashi he would have made me eat it out of the trash. But there was never any food to waste in the first place, so I never had to do that.

I heard footsteps outside the door. Next was the sound of a key jingling and unlocking the door. A guy that looked to be my age with purple hair and bags under his eyes stepped inside. I looked at Aizawa who looked at the boy and walked over to greet him.

"You're home early." He said.

"I finished early so I just came home." He hadn't noticed me yet. I still wasn't sure who he was.

Aizawa turned his attention to me. The boy followed his gaze and saw me sitting at the table.

"Hitoshi, this is Izuku Midoriya. Izuku, this is Hitoshi Shinso. Hitoshi, I told you a little bit about Izuku the other day."

...Sooooooo...Sorry I kind of disappeared for... a long time. I didn't mean to leave you hanging. I literally left off with "I'm your father" How cruel is that?! AAnyWaY, here's this really long chapter to make up for it. Feel free to hate me in the comments. Also thank you to the people who are sticking with me and who told me I should keep writing!
