   ⚠️TW: VERBAL AND PHYSICAL ABUSE⚠️

School was over and you went to pick up Rosy. You hope your dad wouldn't be home. As you were walking Rosy to your house listening to her tell you about her day you noticed your dads car in the driveway. You were hoping he'd be gone a bit longer. It's whatever. You think.
You open the door to see the house is trashed. It reeked of alcohol and cigarettes. You hear things being thrown around. You hold Rosy close and turn around. No way in hell I'm bringing Rosy in there. You start walking but something pulls you back causing you to fall. It was your dad.
"Did ya miss me piggy?" He drunkenly slurs. "You were really about to go off again without saying hi to your old man?" He pulls you and Rosy inside. You're terrified but you don't let it show. You're standing in front of Rosy to protect her from whatever was about to happen.
As soon as he pulls you two into the house he starts to beat you with his belt while throwing things at you. "You're nothing. Useless bitch. Why don't you do us all a favor and kill yourself." He says striking you multiple times.
You're shielding Rosy with your body as she sobs clinging onto you. You manage to get both of you into your room and lock the door before your dad could get in. Tears were streaming down your face but you tried to keep it together. Maybe he was right. His words were getting to you. You sat in the corner of your bedroom and held Rosy in your arms, rocking her back and forth.
He was pounding on the door for what seemed like ages. Although you were bruised and and bleeding, you were glad Rosy was unharmed for the most part. Your dad only managed to get her once with a book he threw at her face.
You knew you couldn't stay there anymore. You waited for your dad to stop pounding on your door. You knew he probably went to drink some more and pass out on the couch. Once it's been silent for a few minutes you tell Rosy to stay in your room as you crept out to her room and grabbed her some clothes and valuable items, you also grabbed your tooth brushes from the bathroom as well as a box of razor blades. You came back to your room and got some of your stuff too. You stuffed all of your things in a duffle bag.
Your room had a window that was low enough for you two to jump out of. You dropped the bag out the window and helped Rosy out before hopping out. You didn't know where you were going but you knew your house wasn't safe. You were carrying Rosy on your back as you ran to town hoping you'd find someone to help you or somewhere to go.
"I'm hungry." Rosy whined as you made it to town. "Alright let's go get some food." You tell her. You went to the local cafe, Rosy loved their cookies. Before you went in you put on a hoodie you had packed in your bag to cover a majority of your wounds. You walked with a slight limp.
Inside you got Rosy a cookie and hot chocolate. You sat down at a table in the back with Rosy relieving the pain in your leg. As she ate you thought about what you were going to do.
"Y/n?" A familiar voice called to you. You looked up and saw Ms Paulson. You looked down hoping she wouldn't notice you but it was already too late. She was standing at your table. "Hello little one." She smiled at Rosy. Her smile quickly faded into a frown when she noticed a bruise on Rosy's cheek. "What happened here?" She asked concerned as she held Rosy's face gently in her hand. "Daddy-"  You cut Rosy off. "Wait here darling." You say to Rosy as you pull Sarah to the side.
You stand in silence for a moment before you say something. "We have no where to go." You say with tears building in your eyes. Sarah could see how swollen and cut up your face was. "Baby who did this to you." She says in the verge of tears. You couldn't say anything else you just sobbed in her arms. "You're coming home with me tonight." She says still holding on to you. "It's going to be alright my love you're going to be okay."

A/N: so this gets pretty dark but something  goods coming next.
